She did no such thing. Sometimes those who do not adore The One are right contrary to The One’s supporters.
Her job was to ask and their job was to answer. Candidates do not need to be protected, they need to be gouged and poked.

That was clearly the intent. If Trump wasn’t there, they had to prep the field for the last surviving GOPe candidate, which left Cruz in the crosshairs.

Cruz missed a prime opportunity to blast Chris Wallace when Wallace said, “Well, this is a debate.” Cruz should have said, “I beg to differ. Debates have moderators, not cheerleaders and facilitators.”
