So is this their way of sabotaging Trump?

“He’s not following GOP principles, so we reserve the right to select a new GOP nominee.”

Enter Cruz. Enter President Clinton or Sanders.

>> Are we being scammed?

That’s my biggest fear with Trump — that he isn’t today what he was yesterday.

Which might mean that tomorrow, he’ll forget and/or change his mind from what he says he’ll do today.

I will point out that Ted Cruz has been a solidly CONSISTENT conservative. That’s why my preference is for Ted Cruz.

Of course we are being scammed. Don’t think that a crude NY liberal who supported abortion including partial birth abortion, gun control, amnesty, universal healthcare, the Clintons and their foundation, deBlasio, Obama, numerous far-left politicians, takes money from Soros, loves eminent domain, and more liberalism won’t turn on the voters swooning over him now.

Everyone knows that Trump is not a total conservative. So what! He will still be far, far better than either Clinton, Sanders or Bloomberg. The country is going to collapse, so it won’t matter much anyway.

You mean the same GOP that has claimed to be conservative and has given us turncoat liberals like Dole, McCain, Bush Jr. and Romney?

So lets see, put our faith in the GOP who has betrayed us and this nation for decades along with the dems?

Put our faith in the Dems?

or put our faith in Trump?

Well this is a simple calculus, the GOP and DEMS have screwed us for decades... Trump may well screw us, but given the other two’s track records, how can they claim they are a better choice?

This is the simple, and undeniable logic of why Trump is where he is... GOP has betrayed the electorate and their supporters for decades, now want to try to argue someone else wills screw you over, stick with us...

Its a stupid argument that no one will buy.

Had the GOP actually stood up to Obama at some point beyond token lip service they might not be in the straights they are, but they didn’t... so here we are.

This is why all the attacks on Trump fall on deaf ears, those making them have ZERO credibility.

Unlike other politicians, Trump seems to have no friends, no allies (other than the occasional crackpot like Sarah Palin or Joe Arpaio)

Tells me all I need to know about the author's motives. I like them both. If the author wants to call them "crackpots", his argument carries absolutely no weight with me.

I have a great idea for a political cartoon. Trump would be dressed as a brick mason and he would be building a wall. On his side of the unfinished wall, the side with Trump on it, would be the American people. On the other side the Establishment: MSM, GOPe, pundits the CHEAP LABOR EXPRESS etc.

Donald and the American people on one side vs the Establishment cabal on the other.

“Are we being scammed?”

Conservatives are big time, the GOPeers not so much they want most of what the democrats want anyway. When the “deal making” starts the democrats and GOPeers will at least get touch back amnesty more crony capitalism the lobbyist will be okay. Donald will probably discover he was right before about abortion, what kind of appointments will he make? will he revert back to his previous stand on the Second Amendment. When did he actually become a Conservative? I assume it would be after he endorsed DeBlasio, two years ago? Is no one bothered by his narcissism? his vindictiveness? his mocking of those who either are afflicted or don’t agree with him? his use of superlatives instead of pertinent descriptive language. I would at least like to believe that someone who may become President is mentally stable.

Trump is our Wendell Willkie, a lifetime dim who switched parties and lost badly in his 1942 run for president.

I agree with what Senator James Watson of Indiana told Willkie and it applies to Trump: “Well Wendell you know back home in Indiana it’s all right if the town whore joins the church but they don’t ask her to lead the choir on the first night.”
