I say that because there's no reason to think that Trump won't turn on a dime the instant he has to face a general electorate, and begin advocating a whole new set of policies. He adopted an entirely new set of beliefs for this race, one attuned to what his current audience wants â not just xenophobic, but fervently pro-life, pro-gun, pro-God, and pro-whatever else he thinks primary voters want to hear. Trump panders shamelessly to whoever he's talking to, he has no genuine ideology, and he won't feel tied to anything he's said before, any more than he's tied to his previous positions on health care or abortion.
Unlike other politicians who struggle to explain any hint of contradiction between what they're advocating now and what they've advocated before, Trump waves it all away. Remember all the painful contortions Mitt Romney went through to convince Republicans he was in complete agreement with them and had renounced his prior hints of moderation? Trump doesn't bother with that. Who cares what I said then? This is what I'm saying now, and anyone who has a problem with it is a low-energy loser.

“So when he said he was prochoice in these youtube videos he was lying?

Trump nailed a reporter for taking this out of context, just like you did.
Donald Trump on Abortion - On The Issues
www.ontheissues.org/2016/Donald_Trump_Abortion.htm
And I said if you let [that quoted excerpt] run, that I hate the concept of abortion. I hate the concept of abortion. And then since then, I’ve very much evolved.
I disagree, the biggest con in American politics is the Dem Party feeding African Americans welfare in exchange for 90% or more of their votes.
Sorry but he was a Candidate for a Party Nomination and LOST. in the “ross for boss” Reform party.
Been there. Seems like the same is true at most other social media sites. Discouraging, for sure.
Wrong. Newt Gingrich didn’t run to the left in 1994. He ran on a bold conservative agenda and swept the Congress. Romney repudiated that agenda when he ran for Senate the same year and lost in a landslide.
I’m too young to remember the Reagan campaigns but please provide examples of where he ran to the left.
It’s not the GOP he’s going to betray... it’s the Trumpster Freepers here. In 3 years he’ll be running for re-election and explaining why no one is building the wall, and why all the illegals are now legal.
Amnesty. Although I admire him, this was one huge mistake.
Try answering the question instead of the typical deflection.
He said he is pro-choice in the video. He believes in the woman’s right to choose OVER making abortion illegal.
That is not taking him out of context at all.
And it is the very definition of pro-choice.
On banning partial birth abortion, and I quote: “No, I would not, I would not, I am, I am very pro-choice in every respect and as far as it goes, but I just hate it.”
I was under the impression that one could not be considered pro-life unless they were actually pro-life, and the quote above is not a pro-life quote.
He already said he’s letting the “good” illegals back in as quickly as possible. So he won’t need to explain that one. Time will surely give him man of the year for creating so many new latino immigrant voters so quickly.
So go read his books! You can probably find them at your local library, so you don’t have to give him any money. Then check the books against the web site. Boy are you ever lost!
yep
How could you betray the Republican Party?
Trump has an insurmountable lead?
The mooselimbs are play’in the race card.
“I want details.”
It would be nice if more Trump supporters could simply state the details as they understand them without calling questioners names.
The ones who betrayed us are telling us we are being betrayed. LOL As George Bush said “Full me once shame on you, full me twice shame on you” His mis-quote not mine...lmao lol..
Ok, I will probably give you that one. I was just thinking of individual politicians. I have never seen a politician run quite so strongly as something that he is not. If he is elected, Trump will revert back to being moderate to liberal and shock all of his poor bewitched supporters here on FR.
YOU changed the subject, I’m just following your lead. You don’t want answers, you want to piss and moan!

Just like Cruz, Bush and the others want!
By Trump - big time and being palyed for suckers
All I am saying is he is going to do what he thinks is best for himself. No different than a Clinton.
Just saying, you will not be liking the deals he cuts if he is elected.
He is not conservative.
