How is the fact Sammon’s adult daughter’s decision to work for one of the campaigns a “conflict of interest?”

If she worked for the Trump campaign, nobody would be squawking about it.

She doesn’t work for Trump, the issue is whom she does work for.

I’m laughing that you guys just can’t get over your hate and see what is right in front of you. Look at the post just above yours. If you can’t see the deliberate attempts to influence voters, they perhaps it is you that is so easily swayed.

Biggest problem with your made up scenario, it does NOT exist. I know, now you can also mention that Levin’s soon to be step son doesn’t influence anything either.

http://www.foxnews.com/transcript/2015/08/02/flimsy-trump-spousal-rape-story-media-rip-huckabee-on-holocaust/

KURTZ: I spoke with Chris Stirewalt, Fox’s Digital Politics Editor, and a key member of that team.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KURTZ: Chris Stirewalt, welcome.

CHRIS STIREWALT, FOX NEWS DIGITAL POLITICS EDITOR: Great to be here as always.

KURTZ: You’ve been to this rodeo before. How do you and Megyn Kelly, and Bret Baier and Chris Wallace go about formulating your questions, knowing that the candidates are going to try to pivot to their talking points?

STIREWALT: Well, the first thing is we have a secret weapon and that is Bill Salmon, who is the best at not only team cohesion and keeping everybody on point about what the point is, but in crafting the questions.

KURTZ: Washington Bureau Chief.

STIREWALT: Absolutely. He’s Managing Editor and a great mind and a great journalist and that’s a big help. But the idea is this, people forget about what we do and in the discussion of this debate we hear well, what will Trump say to Bush and what will Walker say to Rubio, and what will they say? They are forgetting what this is, and if you go back and look what we did, and you remember you covered it — what we did in 2012. We have built some diabolically tough questions that are difficult to answer. You’re not going to hear Megyn Kelly or Bret Baier or Chris Wallace go out and ask — remember the question from CNN in 2012 to Newt Gingrich about his swinger wife allegation and oh, just awful, that stuff. You’re not going to hear that. You’re going to hear questions about what matters to Republican primary voters as they try to make their choice.

Here honey....These are the questions. Give them to Marco. Make sure no one sees you. Don’t use your email or any other communication. Right into his pocket. You know how to do it.

Trump stumped on nuclear triad. Rubio explains it...made me ponder.

The point is it should be announced. Then it would be honest. It’s when they hide these relationships. Easy enough for Fox to announce the debate manager has a daughter involved in Rubio’s campaign.
Other people do that all the time.

Pure BS. The MSM/FR CRuzbots would have had it plastered, non-stop, on tons of threads.

Trump wouldn’t employ such a blatant conflict of interest. The debate mod/producer’s kid??

Get real.

Of course it's a conflict of interest. It looks really bad, it calls the objectivity of debate preparation into question.

It's manageable, of course, if the relationships are disclosed in advance and voluntarily. In this case that wasn't done, which means it's safe to assume the worst. It was a big deal when George Will didn't disclose his wife worked for Scott Walker.

With full disclosure, the viewer can make an informed judgment.
