For all I care, Trump could govern like an out and out socialist and I wouldn’t care as long as he got the wall built and enforced immigration law. Because if this problem isn’t taken care of, we are absolutely boned in every election after this.
And you know what? He’s the only one who’s shown himself actually willing to follow through on it. In comparison, Cruz has been utterly pathetic on all topics immigration, and pretty much all the others are out and out in favor of more illegals.
So I don’t care. He’s the only one who MIGHT be able to turn this country around in the long run, because if we lose here, we lose on every other topic there is.

tiny flaw in your logic:
If Trump governs as an out and out Socialist, there will be no wall, no end to illegal immigration because socialism believes in universal equality in every aspect of life.
In other words, the illegals are, in Socialist ideology, entitled to what Americans have, and Americans have no right to complain about it.
IF he doesn't find an excuse to go independent and help Hillary or because Sanders won, he will rule as a socialist. He already said he wants health care nationalized. He wanted the banks nationalized instead of a bail out. He also believes it's fine to nationalize private property if it helps him and his business friends.
Oh, and illegals are a businessman like Trumps' best friend. Who do you think mows his lawns? Cleans rooms? Builds his buildings? High cost, unionized, Americans? He just knows the Republican base is very angry about unfettered immigration, so he's playing along in order to get their attention. Don't expect him to follow through on any of it.
