Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump used a Tuesday appearance on MSNBC to tout the fact that, as president, he would work with Democratic leaders in Congress to get things done.
He specifically talked about House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and asserted he was "close" to Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), who is expected to replace outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.)
"I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem. Reid will be gone," Trump said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Tuesday. He continued:
"I always had a decent relationship with Reid, although lately, obviously, I haven't been dealing with him, so he'll actually use my name as the ultimate -- you know, as the ultimate of the billionaires in terms of, you know, people you don't want. I always had a great relationship with Harry Reid and frankly, if I weren't running for office I would be able to deal with her or Reid or anybody. But I think I'd be able to get along and work very well with Nancy Pelosi and just about everybody."

Oh goodie! The last thing that we want is a President who will not get along with Schumer and Pelosi.
And Shumer recently defended Trump. They are close it seems.
I agree he is lulling conservatives in... to dominate them.
Is Trump lulling “them” or you? There are very, very, very, few conservatives in NYC and Trump is definitely not one of them.
You want to win the election, I get that, but putting a Democrat Lite in office doesn’t accomplish anything, imo.
He is looking forward to the General election. He already has the GOP nomination locked up. He needs to swing more democrat voters over.

so Trump will make Pelosi Speaker again and make Schumer Da Man in the Senate ?
We are a republic with a bicameral legislative body.
You need to make deals. There is nothing wrong with making deals. In fact, if you want to run a government and NEVER make a deal, then you just want to be a dictator.
Trump makes deals. He makes good deals. He gets what he wants. No one imagines that this is possible by never ever giving the other side anything at all. Life isn’t like that.
Our problem has been that the GOPe “makes deals” by preemptively surrendering and giving Obama whatever he wants. Trump clearly doesn’t make that kind of deal. Just ask Fox.
If he means it hes not whatwe want.
If he doesn’t i don’t like lying politicians no matter who they are.
The only Republican who accomplished that was Reagan and Trump is no Reagan.
I “don’t get it” either. ‘Splain?
How dare you post Trump in his own words - unless those words are an excerpt from The Art of the Deal! You obviously hate this country and want it to become CANADA! It’s CLEAR that you like Nickleback. Nickleback AND HILLARY. Trump is the ONLY one who can defeat Nickleback! Why would you do this???
Pump my Trump or take a DUMP, loser! That’s what I say!
Thanks for helping Hillary WIN.
He’s not Dim lite ... he’s a Paleo Conservative = sealing the borders, economic nationalist, low taxes , strong on gun rights, and no frivolous endless wars
Told you. This guy knows the right words to say to suck in so-called conservatives who just want things to change FAST in Washington. That’s NOT how Washington works. To think this guy can pull off everything he says is foolish and that’s just the type of person he is pulling in.
He wants to be king of a country he loves, I guess, but still king. Why vote for someone who wants to be buddies with Pelosi and Schumer?! That’s what we have in the White House now.
On firearms what has the left given ?
I see trump giving ground there to go Monty hall fr something he, not america wants
As a Cruz supporter I have to admit his polling has been impressive and leads one to believe he has the primaries locked down. If so ... then if I were a Donald Trump, a liberal / libertarian New Yorker, I would begin moving back to the NE liberal comfort zone to try and draw in disaffected dems and start gearing up for the general elections. Plus many democrats cross sides and vote in primaries.
Not my cup of tea but he appears to have enough conservatives sucked into his tent that he can say just about anything he wants now. Whether it is Dole, MCain, Romney or Trump ... we conservatives are supposed to suck it up and vote for the lesser of evils, right?
If Trump is such a Lib , why is he not running in the Dim primary ? Why are the Dims in a panic over him ?
You know tip oneil despised reagan no matter how many pics they took like that. And Reagan was an actor and a decent guy as a person, and Trump aint no Reagan.
