Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump used a Tuesday appearance on MSNBC to tout the fact that, as president, he would work with Democratic leaders in Congress to get things done.
He specifically talked about House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and asserted he was "close" to Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), who is expected to replace outgoing Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.)
"I've always had a good relationship with Nancy Pelosi. I've never had a problem. Reid will be gone," Trump said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Tuesday. He continued:
"I always had a decent relationship with Reid, although lately, obviously, I haven't been dealing with him, so he'll actually use my name as the ultimate -- you know, as the ultimate of the billionaires in terms of, you know, people you don't want. I always had a great relationship with Harry Reid and frankly, if I weren't running for office I would be able to deal with her or Reid or anybody. But I think I'd be able to get along and work very well with Nancy Pelosi and just about everybody."

tiny flaw in your logic:
If Trump governs as an out and out Socialist, there will be no wall, no end to illegal immigration because socialism believes in universal equality in every aspect of life.
In other words, the illegals are, in Socialist ideology, entitled to what Americans have, and Americans have no right to complain about it.
I don't recall Reagan insulting every other candidate on a personal level on a daily basis.
Reagan was a gentleman and was the author of the 11th commandment. Trump insults everyone who disagrees with him. Do you really think someone like that can accomplish diddly squat as a president?
Trump will have to work with all the people he has personally insulted and he doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who can issue sincere apologies.

Now you aren’t satisfied that he would have a majority in the house and senate so he wouldn’t have to make deals with democrats so you want him to make deals with democrats.

IF he doesn't find an excuse to go independent and help Hillary or because Sanders won, he will rule as a socialist. He already said he wants health care nationalized. He wanted the banks nationalized instead of a bail out. He also believes it's fine to nationalize private property if it helps him and his business friends.
Oh, and illegals are a businessman like Trumps' best friend. Who do you think mows his lawns? Cleans rooms? Builds his buildings? High cost, unionized, Americans? He just knows the Republican base is very angry about unfettered immigration, so he's playing along in order to get their attention. Don't expect him to follow through on any of it.
Yeah, I know. I’m not in agreement with it at all if it is what he’s doing, but looks like he’s playing this part by the old rules. Stay to the right of center in the primaries, drift the other way in the general. Looks screwy to me.
If Trump were to gun down a busload of schoolchildren he wouldn't lose a voter as long as he promises to build that damn wall!

If trump is anti-establishment, BO and Congress are therefore establishment, and the incumbent politicians who stand to lose money, power or whatever else at trump’s hands: they will act in their own collective self-interest.
You have let your anger consume you, find something to vent that anger outside of the election, please.

Remember when I said no other candidate in the race would care? No other candidate in the race has shown that they care, except as a me-too.
Trump is our only chance to reverse this. I don’t care where he stands on any other issue.

Any GOOD president knows how to compromise. It would be a TOTAL SHAME to elect some ideologue that WILL NOT compromise with the other side...as Reagan did.

Completely stopping all immigration into this country will not solve any of our problems. Surely you realize that. The country’s problems are rooted much deeper than that.

And when did Reagan ever go on a personal insult rampage when someone criticized him? Never. He usually responded with something like "Well, there you go again" then smiled and moved on.
Face it, Trump responds to criticism the way Obama does.
So don't go comparing Trump to Reagan. There is no comparison. None.
Reagan was a thoughtful gentleman. Trump? Not.
