Fox News head will let Trump walk before replacing Megyn Kelly as debate moderator

Here we go again. Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is publicly toying with the idea of bailing on a debate. He claims Fox News host Megyn Kelly, one of three moderators for Thursday's event in Des Moines, Iowa, is biased against him. So he might not show.

Exhibiting the resolute decision-making skills required of a commander-in-chief, Trump has asked the Twitterverse to help him choose whether to attend or not.

If Trump can’t handle “biased” questions without stomping his little feet than he is not ready to be president.

“Poor little baby Trump can’t handle Fox News host Megyn Kelly. “

If Trump doesn't show, all of the others on the stage will be saying things to that effect throughout the debate. He'll be handing his opponents a gift wrapped talking point to use against him. He'll be there.

he just got 10 minutes or so MORE FREE advertising on fox news- got to say whateve3r he wanted to and got out all his talking points- then turned around and whined about how unfair fox news is being to him- Fox news talks about him 24/7 and he doesn’t have to spend a dime- and fox practically ignores all the other candidates- but by golly fox is being unfair to him-

I’m amazed at your lack of truth - it isn’t about the questions and she asked everyone about things TRUMP said. However, there is no reasoning with Cruzbots - they are too dense to separate fact from fiction.

If I knew the deck was stacked against me, I’d not likely give them the chance to beat me up. I’d not be Trump either.

This hatred the media, the GOP, the Left, the lo-I-am-so-above-you attitude of Trump haters ... I don’t understand that reasoning. They tolerated this guy, obama... why in the world can’t they tolerate ANYONE else out there.

From my viewpoint.. if you didn’t take obama out of that office. You don’t have any right to try to take Trump out... You tolerated obama.. how, I do not know.. but you did.. he’s been in there for almost 8 years. He’s been the biggest mistake the US has ever made.. he’s been the worst thing they could have brought into that office.
Now, you are going to become suddenly proactive and try to take Trump out?

I, and many, have lived with this in the White House.. for almost 8 years... It’s your turn to ‘live with it’.

” It would not be as entertaining to a mass audience, but I think it would be more substantive.”

My point was that it would screw up all the other’s debate prep. They are all coming to attack Trump (there’s nothing “substantive” about these shameless media events anyway) so they would not have much of anything to say if he were to not attend.

If a candidate can’t run without Goldman Sachs’ permission, they are not ready to be president.

“lol. Whiny baby can’t handle Kelly. Will make a terrific president/s”

*****

He can handle Kelly, but he doesn’t have to take Kelly.

Frankly, I don’t think this is a personal thing for her - she is merely taking orders from Ailes & Rove to go after him.

Right you are.

Why would one accept an invitation to go on a live national broadcast and try to spare with a host who controls the dialog, the guest's microphone, the cameras, the amount of the guest's screen time (compared to that of his competition) and the intermissions. Why, when most particularly the host has used ambush tactics against the guest and otherwise conducted a concerted public effort to belittle and embarrass the guest?

Perhaps those who advocate that he do so can tell us what of value could possibly be gained?

Unfortunately, the present public animosity between Trump and Cruz likely precludes the opportunity for a debate in a different forum; which was possible a month or so ago.

With the exception of Carson they hav been politicians their entire adult lives, they are flexible enough to prep on the fly, if not that tells me something important.

They’d be wise to avoid speaking of Trump at all if he doesn’t go.

So what are the odds that CNN will carry a Trump townhall live just for the ratings and to stick it to Ailes over at Fox? How about 100%.

he’s handled them fine, but he had enough.

Funny how ‘conservatives’ are now siding with liberals. If that’s what’s needed to support Cruz, count me out.

Taking your ball and going home is a fine plan for a 3rd grader.

Reagan was NOT beloved by moderators and unlike Trump he was still a Strong Gentleman.

I did not see much Love for G.W.B but guess what he actually went and made his case.

Nor was Nixon a fan favorite guess what he still showed up to the fight.

Personally I am pretty sure DJT will show and then claim the only reason any one is watching is because he is there and the the other candidates now have negative numbers (or some such equivalent drivele on vox populi)

How can that go unnoticed?

It baffles the mind to see the lack of normal reactions to leftist media shills.

“They’d be wise to avoid speaking of Trump at all if he doesn’t go.”

You really believe that? If Trump isn’t there it will be a Crap-On-Trump-a-Thon! Jebbito will probably end up with a hernia going after Trump! Ditto for that sorry a$$hole Kasich.

“Taking your ball and going home is a fine plan for a 3rd grader.”

DT is at 41%, making him the whole ballgame.

“Reagan was NOT beloved by moderators and unlike Trump he was still a Strong Gentleman.”

It helps that he paid for the microphone too.

“I did not see much Love for G.W.B but guess what he actually went and made his case.”

GWB was past giving a care by then. Looking at his watch, acting bored.

“Nor was Nixon a fan favorite guess what he still showed up to the fight.”

And he lost to the guy with better hair.
