For Donald Trump, in some ways, Ted Cruz "looks like a jerk."
The heated personal rhetoric directed by Trump at Cruz cranked up another few degrees on Tuesday morning, with the Manhattan business mogul unloading on his Republican rival in back-to-back morning show interviews.
...
"He's a liar," Trump said of Cruz, adding, "that's why nobody likes him
...
"He looks like a jerk, he's standing all by himself.
...
Co-host Mika Brzezinski interrupted, asking Trump if he was actually comparing Cruz to President Barack Obama. "Well, they're the same. I think actually, Ted is more strident than Obama, if you want to know the truth...

How do you know?
"Tough to work with" means being willing to use the power of the purse to constrain Obama, something that the Establishment was loathe to do.
I prefer a feisty candidate over mealy mouth Romney, McCain etc who refused to fight Obama Hussein.
Fight fire with fire?
The Democrats in both houses would kick up so much ruckus and dis-allow any such acts. Or more to the point, any anti-globalist act, in fact, the GOPe would do the same.
Disgusting.
You can not observe that Trump NEVER attacks any so called conservative first? Trump is and always has been a vicious counter puncher. My advice to conservatives is if you attack Trump, be prepared for a vicious counter attack.
Frankly I am done with nicey-nice republicans. So great to have a candidate who fights back.
“Is Trump running or Rickles?”
LOL! “Ya hockey puck!”
Malkin actually praised Trump (I was shocked :) during one of her recent book interviews. She commended him for his stance on illegal immigration/Syrian refugees, etc.
Agreed! But he needs to sim his feisty critiques at Hillary and Bernie
The context doesn't help.
Your invective is assertion, it’s not an argument. It’s not even good invective.
Last week, Trump said Cruz was worst than Hillary, and today, he is worse than Obama?
One, Trump doesn’t believe this, so it is a lie.
Two, Trump does believe this, which means he should be no where near the White House.
Hmmmmm...interesting talent you have there...an ‘Invective Critic’.
I would assert that the title Invective Critic would be if not ironic, then an oxymoron. Perhaps more oxygen would help with that condition.
Everything is malleable these days. You can be a male but identify as a female, white but identify as black...so I guess this goes for political identity as well. People don’t know what they are anymore.
I hope people will read what you posted. Thanks.
As soon as Trump nomination looks certain, you are going to witness the most devastating attacks on Hillary/Bernie. AT least 10 times more vicious than Romney or McCain or Dole ever attacked their opponents. Count on it. Have you ever witnessed Trump as a shrinking violet?
Actually Trump already silenced Hillary’s Attack on Trump regarding the war on women nonsense. It took Trump only a couple of days to expose Bill Clinton’s serial physical attacks on women, and we have not heard any more war on women attack from Hillary. Which other republican, including senator Cruz will attack Bill Clinton’s awful history with women as viciously as Trump? Something to think about.
If he could, he would. He's getting away with an enormous con.
His speeches are incoherent. His debate responses are soundbites. He insults. He berates. He ridicules. He speaks in cliches.
There's no there, there.
Why not a single US senator out of the 99, all colleagues of senator Cruz for 3+ years, have not endorsed one of their colleague with whom they work every day and know him well? Senator Ernst from Iowa, semi-endorsed senator Rubio.
Why did governor Palin, whom senator Cruz credits for his nomination victory in Texas, endorsed his opponent this time? I am sure you have a great explanation.
I thought resonating with voters and winning is more important than debating skills. Wrong?
(((chuckle!)))
And liberals who “identify” as conservatives—?
Yep, I do believe we are experiencing cognititive dissonance on a national level.
Look, if you’re not up to making an argument, I understand.
That has been my assessment. I had hoped for more.
