And your condescension is the rule, not the exception with you folks.
I’ve got some news for you - you’re no better than anyone else.
Uh, the poster to which Nopardons was responding stated people were leaving in droves. You are saying they are hanging around for autographs...
As probably only poster on this thread who actually went to a Trump rally, note:
1. People were not leaving early while Trump was talking.
2. Well of course don’t you think people would want to get video and autograph of any presidential contender they were supporting—or maybe even one they were just thinking of supporting for a memento or sake of history? I would. We were within 15 feet of Trump, and I told my family that this is the closest any of them or likely anyone they know will ever get to a presidential candidate or president....If they were at a Cruz rally, I would be telling them the same thing. Trump stayed as a courtesy to sign autographs—he had to get to another rally, but he stayed chatting and signing autographs. It was nice.
Nope, go to one yourself—they don’t.

The 30-40% of the electorate willing to do that won’t win Trump (or anyone else) the nomination this time:

But please DO believe what you want to, since apparently, it makes YOU feel better about your sorry, little nobody of a nothing self. Pity about that......
“:^)
That’s because Cruz supporters know how and when to caucus. They’re also precinct captains and potential convention delegates. How many precinct captains does Trump have in your neck of the woods?
For some inexplicable reason, they all seem to imagine that either everyone in this nation, are just the same as they are, or those that aren't are.......well fill in the latest smear.
Now, if onyx and others only would, perhaps we can put this damned LIE to rest.
Why don’t you just stay on your I LOVE CRUZ, but all I do is put down Trump supporters and this site there, site?
Because pointing out the illogical arguments of Trump supporters is my primary source of entertainment?
How is your son?
He’s gaining weight and hasn’t had a relapse for almost a month now. Docs keep telling us, though, that it is only a matter of time before his kidneys go haywire again. The testing is taking forever, but the bills come on time :(
Thanks for asking.
Do the “articles after articles” that you refer to included your repeated posts about “articles after articles”? I think you may be confusing the two. Or perhaps you have some evidence (credible) of said claim? I have seen references in the news of some people who say they’re there for the “celebrity” aspect of it, but the media stories are replete with accounts of hundreds, if not thousands, that have been turned away because the venues can’t hold the crowds.
August 2015: Open Secrets: "....That $100,000 gift from Trump to the Boehner-allied super PAC was twice as big as his next-biggest contributions. [Trump's] given $50,000 .. to Karl Rove's American Crossroads (2010) [and $50,000 to] the pro-Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) Kentuckians for Strong Leadership (2013)..."
July 24, 2015: - 'Flat-out lie': Cruz calls McConnell a liar on Senate floor
...."It saddens me to say this. I sat in my office, I told my staff the majority leader looked me in the eye and looked 54 Republicans in the eye. I cannot believe he would tell a flat-out lie, and I voted based on those assurances that he made to each and every one of us," Cruz said.
"What we just saw today was an absolute demonstration that not only what he told every Republican senator, but what he told the press over and over and over again, was a simple lie.".....
Jan 19, 2016: - Trump pans Cruz's 'temperament'
"..Ted has got a rough temperament, you can't call people liars on the Senate floor when they are your leaders. Not a good thing to do if you want to curry favor and get the positive votes later on own," Trump said.".....
Jan 25, 2016 - Trump: Establishment rallying behind me to stop 'nasty' Cruz
..."Look, at a certain point, we got to make deals," Trump continued. "We can't have a guy who stands in the middle of the Senate floor and every other senator thinks he's a whack job. You have to make deals, you have to get along, that's the purpose of what our founders created, and Ted cannot get along with anybody. He's a nasty person."
I know nothing; mine is an impression from trying to follow what's going on closely. I wonder if anything as fascinating as the Trump run and its effects has ever happened in US politics.
Hundreds of thousands of people will stand in line, wait hours, and cheer wildly for Trump at rallies. Why would anyone assume that they wouldn't go through the effort to go out and caucus? Is it possible that some of those caucuses will become giant Trump rallies?
Trump can afford to lose all the caucus states, and will still win the nomination if he wins the “winner take all” primary states.
Cruz, on the other hand, CANNOT afford to lose Iowa. If, with all his “ground game”, Cruz loses Iowa, then he’s pretty-much done.
