well, that’s great.. I’m glad that we don’t need you this time...

I love Cruz - but it’s people like you who think you advance anything resembling conservatism ironically only do the opposite..

Thanks for 4 extra years of Obama....

I am against ethanol subsidy. Agree with Cruz on that but I am very curious if Cruz is against oil subsidies? Being from Texas is he consistent?

Cruz took $15 million from some oil billionaires. He’s all in for Big Oil.

Thanks. On the federal lands is Trump talking about National Park lands? I do not understand what Levin means when he says federal land belongs to states?

Trump is campaigning with personal attacks and flip-flopping positions (no birther problem turns into a problem because of polls). Trump is the attacker. Levin is making that point. Trying to call Levin an attacker for saying Trump is an attacker is just ridiculous PeeWee “I know you are but what am I” nonsense. Levin’s point about Trump’s campaign style is valid. Trump is not using his media time presenting conservative principles and educating the public on Constitutional ideals. Trump is using his media time throwing verbal spit wads.

The fact that Mr. Hatchet Man worked for Nixon and Reagan is irrelevant to the point. Nixon targeted his enemies as a means to gain power. Reagan communicated conservative principles to the public, past the liberal media, and persuaded the public to embrace his conservatism.

Levin is busy beating a strawman today. Again.

paraphrase: They want us to abandon our principles

NO-ONE is saying any such thing. We are talking about ideological discretion for this one office ... President.

If you run the wrong guy into the swing states, and he loses ... again ... the entire executive branch is gone.

It is clear to me that Mark, who knows lots of stuff, has absolutely zero knowledge of the electoral map. He just said he wants to run the most conservative guy, no caveat like William F. Buckley ( "... who can win" ).

Lose on principles. Lose it all he says. I guess that means if the twelve swing states aren't smart enough to see the wisdom in his conservative choice, then tough luck.

Buh bye to 4-6 Supreme Court Justices!

Mark, when Ted Cruz voted for the Corker Bill, was he a purist?

When Ted Cruz voted for a bill that flipped Article II, Section 2, Clause 2 on its head, was that genius?

When Ted Cruz voted for that bill, was he working with the establishment?

Can you explain to me what Conservative principles guided Ted Cruz in this vote?

“Levin is busy beating a strawman today. Again. “

If you think about it - Levin, Rush et al are really no different than Sharpton, Jackson et al..

They need us to be frustrated to keep making a buck..

I’m done with all of them - totally done with all of the politics as usual, talking heads, being screwed over day in and day out.. it’s all over and that’s why I like Trump, and I am VERY conservative.. I just don’t care anymore about the media, Washington, any of it..

I’m done with it all -

What Trump is doing IMHO is trying to win. Many of our friends have forgotten what this means. Rush calls this conditioning, I call it stockholm syndrome.

Running in 2016 versus 1980 is a little different, no? The population is +100 million and WWII and Korea era are vanishing fast. Their replacements are many imported people who barely recognize English or the Constitution.

So you have this different demographic. Shall our guy party like its 1980, running up the "conservative" flag? ( BTW, I remember those elections well, don't oversell the (C) aspect, especially in 1980 when external events dictated the outcome ).

Levin, right this second is lecturing on (C)onservative principles or else, reading the Declaration, but I ask you this ... does it even matter to you or him whether the voters in the battleground states are receptive to this? Are they clamoring for lectures? Evangelicals? Constitutionalists?

P.S. in no way am I stipulating that Trump is some kind of liberal as you might be trying to suggest. He *might* be less Conservative than Cruz or Huck or Santorum. He might not be.

Bet there is not 1 multi-billion dollar company that does not donate to both Parties. It is called hedging your bet. How many Billion dollar companies have you built?

Since I was a Dem 35 years ago I guess I don’t pass the Levin Conservative Purity test either. Enjoy your little tiny club.

Pray America wakes

Levin thinks ethanol is the hill to die on while not saying a word about the 5,000 page crony capitalist TPP. His priority is to tear down Trump and protect Cruz.

Here is the corn ring of ethanol you can kiss.

Try not to get too much slobber on it as there are a lot of people lined up behind you to kiss it.

“Levin thinks ethanol is the hill to die on”

That exact phrase went through my head as I listened on my drive home today. I sure wish ethanol was the biggest problem we faced as a nation today.

its perfectly fine to purposely destroy the country as long as it enriches me - right?

you should pray for wisdom - to your money god - since that is your ultimate measure of success

all is good as long as it benefits me

Me too.

Well, I was. But I will not listen to him defend Beck when he said he would vote for Sanders if Cruz not nominee. ALL of our candidates are closer to Declaration than Sanders. Enjoy the show.

Well I still ove all our guys. You had to see what it was like prior to Rush ( and earlier, Bob Grant and Barry Farber ). But I understand your feeling.

I am starting to look at them as kind of like sportscasters calling the game for the home team fans ... us.

It is simply a matter of lowering expectations for them. It will help to keep us sane when they go off the rails like Mark has been lately. I still love the guy, but I way over-estimated his depth.

I’m enjoying the show more than ever. Mark isn’t going to let all the “church ladies” on FR mess with him. I love him for it.
