Plan “F” now....because Jeb isn’t the guy, and the news media has failed so much, and the National Review has lost it’s credibility....is Bloomberg possibly on the horizon as a third-party candidate (so the weekend spin says).

I just made a generous contribution to National Review.

Trump wants to destroy them, but rotsa ruck.

Some of us are sick and tired of the bullying.

“This showcases just how scared the left is when it comes to Trump’s potential to tear into demographics that Democrats have largely considered theirs.”

FINALLY, someone that gets it. This is the take-away line.

While we are beat up ad nuseum about Republicans needing to attract “other than white voters”, since their white base has nowhere else to turn (other than 3rd party or staying home), virtually nothing is being said about the Democrats themselves TOTALLY REJECTING the values of white voters, and thereby PUTTING THESE VOTERS UP FOR GRABS.

Obama’s people figured they’d need something 45% of white voters to win in 2008. That’s actually not so easy. Between gays and men-hating feminists (about the only white groups that are solid Democrats), you may get 10-15% of the white vote. Beyond that, you get into the blue collar and soccer mom bunch. But the Dems have to fight for them and the EASIEST way to keep them on board is simply to get the Republicans to keep nominating people that won’t try to work for their votes (McCain, Romney, etc.).

Not happening this time.

Andrea Tantaros

Pretty good piece. I agree with her. Trump would have a small place in this race. He has a big place because the GOP doesn't play adversarial politics, its members being failed cogs in a constitutional republic.

When Johnny Friendly and His Goons Took Over National Review http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3388012/posts
Like figures in Madame Tussauds wax museum, they stand together bloodless and stiff - the dead elitists who dare go among us, the Great Unwashed. I have met some of them. Some are nice, but the majority are so elitist that they are like a synod of intellectual snobbery - out of touch with the world and stuck in the dusty rooms they write in, while becoming intoxicated by breathing in the stale air of their own gas.

This current display of solidarity is as smug as the smirk on Glenn Beck's face, one of the 22 contributors of National Review's "Against Trump" issue who should know better. Beck had an addiction problem. He went through a "change". Does this make him any less authentic or sincere in his recovery? By trying to "undefined" Trump, they are saying they can see into his heart and soul. Well, you morons, if you want to see Trump's heart and soul, look to his children. That more than anything is the measure of a man. And it is not an easy thing to bring up children. What's more, we know that Trump's admonishment to his children to not "smoke, drink, or do drugs" can be looked on as the words of someone who respects discipline. Also, Trump to my knowledge is the only candidate in recent memory to mention President Eisenhower! Are you saying that Ike wasn't considered "conservative"?

Off-Topic ... Roger Stone is going after Mark Levin bigtime ...

https://twitter.com/RogerJStoneJr

Someone might want to start a thread just for this. It is going to be a very interesting day on Rush, Hannity, Levin.

Sample ...

Roger Stone @RogerJStoneJr . 17h17 hours ago

Conservative? I was a senior staffer for Reagan in '76, '80 and '84 . Where was @marklevinshow ? #Trump2016

I just knew Mark stepped in it with that inexplicable Nixon reference. Stone work for both Nixon and Reagan.

And now we know why Stone stayed on the outside of the campaign. He is free to be himself. This is gonna get ugly.

National Review, it's time for your Man in the Mirror moment. People are more concerned about the country they love, than they are your brand of "conservatism."

By trying to take out the most popular candidate in this race who has the best general election shot of any of them to win the White House and reverse the progressive policies of Barack Obama, Beltway, frat boy type elitists are proving my point: they don't get it.

Angela Tarantula nails it. Not too hard on the eyes.

Face The Nation Transcript

DICKERSON: What is your definition of conservative?

TRUMP: Well, I think it’s a person that doesn’t want to take overly risks. I think that’s a good thing.

I think it’s a person that wants to — in terms of government I’m talking about, a person that wants to conserve, a person that wants to, in a financial sense, balance budgets, a person that feels strongly about the military. And I feel very strongly about the military.

And you have some of these people, they don’t even want to focus on the military. Our military is falling apart. I feel very, very — and I have always felt very, very strongly about the military.

By the way, if you look at vision, when you look at the word vision, I was the one that said take the oil. I have been saying that for years. And I said take the oil, let’s take the oil. And nobody would listen. Then, all of a sudden, after Paris, they started saying, maybe that’s right, we will take the oil. They still don’t do it the proper way.

Trump might well win the Repub nomination, but he won’t win the presidency. No one who waffles as above on such an essential issue should ever make it to the White House.

If Trump is the nominee he will fail under media scrutiny and the Democrats will find it easy to portray him as a hollow pretender.

Bernie Sanders, who has a much more coherent political message, will win the Presidency. Supported by the Democrat establishment and stupid uneducated well indoctrinated Millennials who (wrongly) perceive Sanders as the honest broker.

If this prediction comes true I will be very saddened, but I’m not going to engage in false hope. I think the only thing now that will save the US is a SHTF event, sometime in the next couple of decades.

The electoral process is so weakened by corruption and deceit as to be useless in bringing any relief from the communist offensive.

Because his primary base of supporters are died in the wool DUmocrats who lack a conservative core. That is also why no progressive will attack Trump... He’s one of them.

I realized a long time ago that Andrea was the best, most grounded, most prepared, most knowledgeable and most articulate conservative personage on all of Fox news.

She's the one who should be given her own show, not the witch Megyn or the hapless Gretchen.

She'd be great paired with Tucker Carlson, another intelligent and personable conservative who cuts right to the bone in his analysis and commentary...but it seems he's pushed to the side at the increasingly leftist Fox.

It would be a fruitless search to find anyone at Fox as strikingly conservative and well-spoken as these two contributors.

Great read! Trump's appeal stretches far beyond disgruntled, outside the country club conservatives. His potential for crossover support, especially with blue collar and working class voters, is huge. Most establishment Republicans have never met a blue collar worker (unless they were fixing their Jacuzzi).
