and as a non trump supporter, i hope I don’t have to say I told you so when you all get him elected and it turns in to another Obama term...

You’ve all hitched your wagon to a guy that was a liberal lefty less than a year ago.. There is to much on the line for me to do that.

If he is the nominee I’ll likely vote for him over whoever the dems kick up. but I just don’t think he is what you all think he is.

Anybody but Cruz......now talk about a disappointment to the country. First he would not know who to blame his problems on since he will have more to blame then he does now. It is always someone else’s fault in his messes. He will be another on his knees apologist to other countries. Like we need that after just going through it for 8 years. No to senators....the suck and lawyer on top of it.......horrid.

While I will support Trump or Cruz if they are the nominee I prefer Trump. No, I do not consider him a lefty. Did he make static donations absolutely. However, one only has to look at his success in business and his children to know he is way more conservative than liberal on most issues. He is also the only one who can take on the entrenched interests in the parties and media.

  3. Pro Traditional marriage. "Gay rights is not my thing."
  4. Pro capital punishment "Capital punishment isn't uncivilized; murderers living is"
  5. Hold Judges accountable
  6. Opposes "Common core is a disaster" Teach citizenship, quit "dumbing down".
  7. Anti education unions (2000)
  8. For school choice

  14. Supports Israel
  15. Opposes Iran deal and letting Iran obtain the bomb.

  17. Wants a military so strong no one will challenge us.
  18. Against unbalanced trade deals that kill American jobs.
  19. Against warrant-less government surveillance of citizens.
  20. Is against having a high national debt. Warns that $24T is a point of no return.

  22. For assault weapon ban but says the AR-15 shouldn't be considered an assault weapon.
  23. Wants to repeal Obamacare and replace it with market driven polices and increased competition among insurance companies.
  24. Wants to increase military spending.
  25. Will close the border to illegals

I have my own reservations about Trump, I think this is turning out to be Sanders V Trump or another Marxism V Capitalism moment in history. The only thing that could shake this up would be if the Dems decide to go brokered convention after Bernie wins states and Hillary ends her campaign or is indicted. Biden grabs Warren and they get the nom from the dems.... In that case the only way Trump wins the GE is dependent on who he picks for VP...

If that happens you are welcome to say SITYS, and I'll eat my share of crow. OTOH, I have no respect for the die hard Cruz or Losers who would rather see a Democrat president than take a chance that they might be proven wrong.

Thank you. And i hope you're wrong. And please don't think all of us are "piling on." I'm not convinced Trump is conservative enough for my tastes, but I AM convinced that Cruz cannot get elected in the general.

One more thing.... Trump's narcissism will drive him to not be a failure in his goal of "making America great again." It's his weakness and his strong point, all in one. He hates failure. He hates self-failure even more.

He also has an insatiable need to prove himself. Lucky for us, we're the ones to whom he's making the promises. He hates politicians of all kinds; in fact, he despises them for all those years he had to pay them money to make his business grow.

Loves us; hates politicians. Rest easy with that thought. ;-)

As a conservative/libertarian that's been voting Republican, I'm used to getting stabbed in the back. At least it may be from a different direction.

Your point is well taken and I'm in full agreement. I don't trust Trump. There was a time when he supported: abortion, gay marriage, and the Clintons. He now says he's changed his views. He's an arrogant man.

The following is from the Harbingers:

THE HARBINGERS

Based on Isaiah 9:10, - "The bricks have fallen, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycamores are cut down, but we will plant cedars in their place," the northern 10 Tribes of Israel refused to repent after they were struck by the Assyrians - which was a warning from the Lord. Instead of listening to the alarm, of turning back, and humbling themselves in repentance, they boasted of their resolve, that they would rebuild stronger and better than before. They ignored the warning and rejected the call to return. They defied it. Sadly, their defiance led to the nation's total destruction years later. The ancient prophecy forms the key to the nine harbingers of judgment, which are given to a nation in danger of judgment - each of which have reappeared on American soil - marking America as the nation in danger of judgment.

Trump's mantra' "Make America Great Again", could be interpreted as another attempt by a politician to "fix America" without God's blessing. We have made abortion and desecration of marriage the law of the land. Strong will and arrogance will not fix our problems. WWII Germany is a testament to this fact. We've in trouble and I don't believe Trump understands why we're in trouble.

Ted Cruz is not perfect but I believe he understands that we need to receive God's blessing to fix this nation.

Then again, what if Trump does what he says he’s going to do?

We’ve already voted a lot of Republicans in 2014; who claimed conservative stripes, who betrayed us. I am so thankful that Mr. Trump is running. Grateful that he’s angry at the shape our country is in thanks to these stupid politicians. Happy to vote for Mr. Trump!

GOPe, political elite, uniparty, globalists and their media talking heads can stick it!

Thank you for the third line of your post!

It shows a lot of common sense lacking from many!

I prefer Cruz too, and I worry some over Trumps past support of Liberal’s generally though in his capacity as a billionaire developer he more or less had to be “fair and balanced” on his political contributions.

I worry ZERO about Trumps being as bad as Obama!
