Word is spreading - Donald Trump supporters are outraged over his treatment by a cabal of self- appointed representatives of conservatism like Glenn Beck and Erick Erickson, among others, who utilized the National Review magazine to declare their opposition to the current GOP frontrunner in what is an unprecedented show of force by media and political establishment figures to attempt to convince voters they are incapable of making their own decision regarding who to cast their vote for.
It might very well prove to the final ingredient in a Trump tsunami once Republican primary voting is underway.

If he is the nominee I'll likely vote for him over whoever the dems kick up. but I just don't think he is what you all think he is.
I just don't think you are what you want us to think you are.
Trump will go to the people directly,,like he has done around the establishment GOPe,,the people that elect those Senators and House Reps...
Trump will use his popularity with the base to pressure Congress to get in line a bit. It’s not a far fetched moved.
You’re a jerk.
The very thing that some anti-Trumpers hate about him, is what WILL make him a GREAT president !
Or he’ll just buy them with pork and favors. His donation record since his conversion to Republican in 1988 has been largely Democrat.
Is that because he agreed with them ideologically, or because he is willing to pay off who he needs to to seal his deal? Either way, he didn’t seem to speak out against him, even at the local level.
If his 1987 book “Art of the Deal” can tell me who Trump is today, why can’t his 1999 interviews?
If that happens you are welcome to say SITYS, and I'll eat my share of crow. OTOH, I have no respect for the die hard Cruz or Losers who would rather see a Democrat president than take a chance that they might be proven wrong.
Trump supporters are ‘mad?’ Now that would make an interesting poll question.
Which pork and which favors has Trump been involved in specifically?
BTTT and marker
Our Consitution gives Congress some leverage against the Executive branch, too. We have not seen much of it used in this Uniparty time we live in, but it remains there. If Trump tries to bully the establishment, they may just re-discover those parts of the Constitution.
We need to get Trump in PLUS get conservatives in Congress. That way, Trump can just sign the legislation. He’s the executive, we need legislature to legislate.
Isn’t that the goal?
Great real estate developers are one part dreamer, one part promoter and one part managers.
The glistening future the makes Trump palatable to the Republican Party? Trump’s work ethic means that he will also work tirelessly to get Republicans down ticket.
Trump is a hard worker and he needs those legislators as well. The smart R’s running for re-election are about to get their heads on straight.
Yes, because LBJ was such a GREAT president.
And you wonder WHY you got “piled on” ?
Hey, knock it off. The left got their messiah in 2008, so idolators on the right get to have one too. But I must admit that I am not sure which will be the most destructive once all is said and done.
None yet, but he has not been in a position to use that tool. We are talking about what may happen if he is elected.
To date, the influence he has used in the political process is donations. Did he donate to Democrats while he was a Republican because he agreed with the ideologically and wanted to support them, or was he buying favor?
The GOPe has declared war on Ted Cruz. They have even pulled Bob Dole out of his Cryonics chamber to convince people of the threat that Cruz presents. But I never hear anything from the GOPe bashing Trump. Go figure.
Once the general election begins, Trump’s base will shift. He will cater to a larger demographic than he is now.
Surly you jest! LOL
