“I even wrote a song about it.”
Ah, so you’re the one that wrote one of my favorite songs, “Under the Sea” from the Little Mermaid :-)
It's also about many of the GOP-ers losing their funding sources from lobbyists big donors, big moneyed interests etc. Lots of that could go away if the Donald, who is beholden to no one, gets elected. Many of those ass clowns can't get by without their pacifiers.
All the other gop candidates with the possible exception of Carson are owned by big moneyed interests.
The integrity of the FBI is at stake. If Comey bows to political pressure, I think there are still some FBI career employees who will leak or go public if they fail to recommend an indictment. There must be another J. Christian Adams in DOJ.
Schiff is a total Hillary lackey.
AMEN!!!
His radio show could be nearly as good as Rush if that's all he did.Problem is its not the kind of show you can do part time and then leave it to the wannabess the rest of the time. That never works in talk radio.
LOL!
Obama was still in denial about the Arab Spring.
It's about time Israel kicked some murdering/rapist @$$ (again) and secured a lot more of "Palestine" as an expanded buffer zone.
Not a bad time to put a few bucks into the FR tank.Great way to start the new year.
Ya know....Ted Cruz is really a smart, talented guy...who had a great future as an American leader and protector of our Constitution....but no more. The minute I learned that Cruz had not undone his Canadian citizenship less then 15 months ago...he lost me!!! I mean. that was a basic thing he should have corrected years ago!!!
And then to cater to the lunatic, moron, idiot, Glenn Beck takes the cake!!! If anyone heard the Glen Beck, “Ted Cruz” endorsement last evening......it was frightening to say the least. Beck...IMHO. belongs in a “padded cell”. For a supposed man of God and religion....Beck sure has tons or “SATAN” hate & evil in his heart & soul!!! Sad to say....Ted Cruz is finished as a viable candidate for POTUS. End of story!!!
I used to kinda like Rubio and think that there was some promise for him, especially since the TEA Party supported him. He dropped way down in my book when he sided with the Gang of 8 and the likes of Chuckie Shister and McLame. I can hardly stand to watch him anymore - as I think I posted on last weeks’ SMTS thread, he talks so fast and reminds me of a used car salesmen (apologies to used car salesmen). And it really bugs me that he’s been saying repeatedly “When I’m President” the past few weeks.
I disagree!
His show is the best, when he's not on it.
“- It would be funny, from a certain ironic standpoint!
Trump and Bloomberg, both New York City billionaires, both loud and opinionated, both pseudo-Republican... -”
If one were to compare the U.S. to Rome, I would say we have crossed the Rubicon.
We have had Reagan = Claudius
We have had Clinton = Caligula
We have Obama = Nero
Now we have a bunch of Imperial (Filthy Rich 1% :) ) asses thinking they are the republic.
Or as someone once said - A Republic if you can keep it
Yes, what about the infamous “tar balls” washing up on Florida’s West Coast?
Sad thing is that years ago most presidents just let Israel keep the peace in the mid- east.
It was rather simple.
Any time Iran, whomever got frisky and tried anything Israel just bombed the crap out of them and that usually set them back a few years.
A few years later, rinse and repeat, it kept the peace.
Recently Zero threatened to shoot Israel's planes out of the sky if they tried it now.
Any time you have the enemy from within running the show expect bad results.
Now I don't know how to go about getting this man because....hey, I just want somebody to care whether I live or die....I don't need to marry the guy. Maybe a dinner once in a while.
So there's a fellow in my life...met him three years ago whe I began going to Sussex county council meetings because of the fence property dispute. He too had fence and other neighbor issues and he did, those three years ago, make some reference to taking me to some restaurant. I wrote a nice article about his issues.
Only at that time I was newly widowed, not even considering such a thing. Anyway, over the years he began to call me every week and discuss politics and such with me. I always cut the conversation without a chance for asking for dates and such because....well again....I just was not there.
Still and so he called me every week and how nice is that? So last week I sent him an email inviting him to my house for dinner. Oh, and his wife, from whom he is divorced, has Munchaussen and he could tell me some stories that made me want to shout for joy for how it was sooooo very true, how his wife would never take her medicine because why? BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO GET WELL!!
So he didn't answer my email invite so I sent him a text message and asked if he got my email. He texted back that he did but was waiting to ascertain if he needs to go to a boat show (he slls boats).
Anyway, fooey on him! It's been two weeks and for God' sakes the date I put I can change.
So he's off my list.
At any rate, so much for my foray into the world of romance....it appears I am not wanted.
Moving on.....bah, humbug.
Once again, thank you for these pings.
Hubby and I rely on you every Sunday morning.
You’re as faithful as the paper delivery.
