Donald Trump argued that radio host Glenn Beck -- who has endorsed Ted Cruz -- can't vote for Cruz in his state's primary Saturday because he is no longer a registered Republican. For Trump, this provides proof that Beck is "dumb as rock."
"Word is that crying @GlennBeck left the GOP and doesn't have the right to vote in the Republican primary. Dumb as a rock," Trump tweeted Saturday.
If true, this would serve as rich irony for many observers. Trump has been hit for his fleeting party affiliation history, but is, by all accounts, currently a registered Republican in his home state of New York.
The deeply conservative Beck, however, actually left the Republican Party in March 2015, citing frustration that the establishment was blocking the efforts of lawmakers like Cruz. It is unclear whether Beck ever formally registered as an independent, or other party, thus deregistering as a Republican. Beck principally resides in the suburbs of Fort Worth, Texas, and is presumably registered to vote there. Texas Republicans hold a "closed primary" where only registered Republicans can vote. If Beck is no longer one, Trump is correct in that though Beck may endorse Cruz, he cannot actually vote for him himself for the primary.
"I've made my decision -- I'm out. I'm out of the Republican Party," Beck said in March 2015. "I am not a Republican."

Talk about dumb as a rock, you or the idiot TrumPET CURT MILLS that wrote this.
Texas does not have a closed Primary, no one registers as Dem or GOP. A voter can vote in either Primary, but only vote in one Primary, GOP or Dem.
Pretty much paints BlackFemaleArmyCaptain as a dyed in the wool lemming.
That is what you say. I don’t think that having a President that was a citizen of another country until he started his run for President was what the founders intended. I think electing Cruz would further lower our standards to the point that NBC become utterly meaningless, but that is just mne.
>> For Trump, this provides proof that Beck is “dumb as rock.”
Hilarious.
How long has Trump been a Republican..He acts a lot like Obama. Not his views but his campaign style.
I was referring to this thread from yesterday.

well the first pdf in that tread shows him as not in a party in 2011..
I think Beck is from Seattle. His father owned a bakery there.
Trump is dumb as a rock.
Yes he is.
But, he’s not a “Natural Born” Citizen.
There’s a difference
Yea, and us conservatives are calling out Trump for not being a Conservative!
Is that confirmed?YUP.

Anyone can vote in the Republican primary in Texas! No one is registered republican or democrat!
I’m sorry, but that comment made me laugh. It’s so darn true and very sad. Wth happened to Beck??
Where is this Country called “Hispanic” Beck is speaking of and why would Senator Cruz want to their President?
Inquiring minds and all that Jazz.
Cruz is an USA citizen which nobody argues, but he is not qualified to be President because he is not a Natural Born Citizen as the Constitution requires.
Someone the other day pointed out that if a son was born in Saudi Arabia to a Saudi man and an American woman nobody would say that child would be qualified to be our President. The only difference with Cruz is the nationalities are different. He is still unqualified.

Have we been had?
Beck was in the Tampa Bay Area for many years broadcasting as a “shock jock” . He made fun of Terri Schiavo, and was an alcoholic at that time. He had a change and became what he is today. I have seen him morph from a conservative to whatever you call it he is today. I listened and followed him until about 4 or 5 years ago when he got a bit strange.
No, Beck resided in NYC until about 2011 when he moved to Texas to set up the Blaze TV/radio.
