Trump calls out Beck for not being a Republican
The Washington Examiner ^ | 1/23/2016 | CURT MILLS

Posted on 01/23/2016 7:53:46 PM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

Donald Trump argued that radio host Glenn Beck -- who has endorsed Ted Cruz -- can't vote for Cruz in his state's primary Saturday because he is no longer a registered Republican. For Trump, this provides proof that Beck is "dumb as rock."

"Word is that crying @GlennBeck left the GOP and doesn't have the right to vote in the Republican primary. Dumb as a rock," Trump tweeted Saturday.

If true, this would serve as rich irony for many observers. Trump has been hit for his fleeting party affiliation history, but is, by all accounts, currently a registered Republican in his home state of New York.

The deeply conservative Beck, however, actually left the Republican Party in March 2015, citing frustration that the establishment was blocking the efforts of lawmakers like Cruz. It is unclear whether Beck ever formally registered as an independent, or other party, thus deregistering as a Republican. Beck principally resides in the suburbs of Fort Worth, Texas, and is presumably registered to vote there. Texas Republicans hold a "closed primary" where only registered Republicans can vote. If Beck is no longer one, Trump is correct in that though Beck may endorse Cruz, he cannot actually vote for him himself for the primary.

"I've made my decision -- I'm out. I'm out of the Republican Party," Beck said in March 2015. "I am not a Republican."

Talk about dumb as a rock, you or the idiot TrumPET CURT MILLS that wrote this.

Texas does not have a closed Primary, no one registers as Dem or GOP. A voter can vote in either Primary, but only vote in one Primary, GOP or Dem.

Pretty much paints BlackFemaleArmyCaptain as a dyed in the wool lemming.

That is what you say. I don’t think that having a President that was a citizen of another country until he started his run for President was what the founders intended. I think electing Cruz would further lower our standards to the point that NBC become utterly meaningless, but that is just mne.

How long has Trump been a Republican..He acts a lot like Obama. Not his views but his campaign style.

Yes he is.

But, he’s not a “Natural Born” Citizen.

There’s a difference

Give it a rest, Cruz is an USA citizen and he has been since birth.
JEZZ dude or dudet get a clue.

Cruz is an USA citizen which nobody argues, but he is not qualified to be President because he is not a Natural Born Citizen as the Constitution requires.

Someone the other day pointed out that if a son was born in Saudi Arabia to a Saudi man and an American woman nobody would say that child would be qualified to be our President. The only difference with Cruz is the nationalities are different. He is still unqualified.

I found this on the CFR site describing ways they think our American sovereignty should be sold down the river.

Another paper in French dated Le 17 mai 2005:

Le groupe de travail réclame des mesures pour renforcer la compétitivité nord-américaine, l’expansion du commerce et la sécurité des frontières

proposals translated:

In this period of political transition in Canada and Mexico, the Task Force proposes new ideas to cope with continental issues that should bring the debate in both countries, and the United States. To guarantee freedom, security, justice and prosperity of North America, the Working Group proposes specific measures:

Enhance the security of North America

Establish a common security perimeter in 2010.
Develop a system of passes with North American biometric identifiers.
Develop a unified border action plan and expand customs facilities.

Create a single economic space:

Adopt a common external tariff.
Allow free movement of goods within North America.
Go to full mobility of labor between Canada and the US Develop a North American energy strategy more focused on reducing emissions of greenhouse gases - a regional alternative to Kyoto.
Review the sectors of NAFTA that were excluded.
Develop and implement a North American regulatory plan that would include exchanges' open skies and free movement "and a unified approach to protect consumers on diet plans, health and the environment.
Expand temporary worker programs and create a "North American preference" for immigration to US citizens.

More equitable distribution of benefits:

Establish Investors North American investments to build the infrastructure linking the poorest regions of Southern Mexico to Northern markets. Restructure and consolidate the public finances of Mexico.
Fully develop Mexican energy resources to better use technology and international capital.

Institutionalize the partnership:

Establish a permanent tribunal for trade disputes and investments.
Convene a meeting at the annual North American summit.
Establish a tri-national Competition Commission to develop a common approach to trade remedies.
Expand scholarship programs in the three countries and establish a network of centers for North American studies.

Yikes. As I stated early, Ms. Cruz IS an issue because she's involved with campaign finances and is on leave (not resigned) from Goldman Sachs. Judging by her resume, it would be fair to assume she's in sync with GWB's global initiatives, which Jeb endorses.

Have we been had?

Beck was in the Tampa Bay Area for many years broadcasting as a “shock jock” . He made fun of Terri Schiavo, and was an alcoholic at that time. He had a change and became what he is today. I have seen him morph from a conservative to whatever you call it he is today. I listened and followed him until about 4 or 5 years ago when he got a bit strange.

No, Beck resided in NYC until about 2011 when he moved to Texas to set up the Blaze TV/radio.
