"Washington consultants always say 'the way you win is you run to the middle.' You run to the mushy middle, you blur the distinctions," he added. "Every time we do that, we lose."

Truth with limitations....because that wouldn’t be fair to Bill.

“Ted Cruz says Bill Clinton not an issue in presidential race”

This race is NOT over yet by a long shot. Iowa radio host Steve Deace tweeted a couple days ago that Cruz is going to win Iowa.

I heard today that Iowa caucuses might have a rule that if a candidate gets under 15% in a caucus, those voters have to switch to another candidate. That will only help Cruz. It would turn the race into a 2-man race by default, and polls show in a pure head-to-head vote between Cruz and Trump, Cruz wins.

Do Iowans really want to vote for a guy who bragged in his 2007 book about having sex with married women? If the facts are allowed to get out there about Trump and not suppressed by his fanatic, cult-like followers, Trump will lose this primary.

Telling the truth about the Clintons = “smears” as far as the ‘Rat media types are concerned.

Telling the truth?
That's a strange concept to Hillary.

Hillary truth serum

The Texas senator said he prefers his approach, which he characterized as "telling the truth with a smile."

Can you visualize Cruz, with a smile in his face, saying to Hillary "you're a f****** b****!

Only moderate Republicans can win! Just ask Presidents Dole, McCain and Romney. Oh I forgot, they all lost.

I am old enough to remember when the GOPe collectively cried in anguish about how Reagan was too conservative to be elected and nominating him would guarantee Carter would win.

What is Ted going to beat Clinton at? Checkers, badminton, a game of pool?

Cruz needs to start by telling the truth about his citzenship, his loans, his hate of New Yorkers values, his soft illegal alien stance. That would be a good start.

Gonna be a helluva plan since he won’t be the nominee.

The mushy middle is what thrives in the beltway. It’s what the consultants know; they’re the functional equivalent of a three year old with a hammer.

Defeating Democrats with the truth hasn’t been tried since Reagan. They’ll never see it coming AND Mrs. Clinton certainly can’t compete with it.

Go Cruz!
