So, good thing I agreed to more than the first 3 minutes, because the first 3 minutes are basically quotes from The Art of the Deal about how to self-aggrandize. Not exactly a ringing endorsement that makes me think the (D)onald is anything LESS than a self-aggrandizing political windsock!
Then he mentions the whole Reform Party candidacy, during which he blasted many conservative principles. Thanks for bringing that up. Take note that he backed out NOT because he disagreed with the Reform Party’s positions or principles, but because it didn’t serve him personally to lose and stand on principle.
Now we are into a long diatribe about people belittling his run. Who cares? How does this establish he’s NOT a political windsock? Boring...
2 minutes left. I hope we get to something of substance about why I should believe the (D)onald.
OK - ten minutes in and now he’s chatting about how the press distorted Trump’s comments on illegals. Whoop-di-doo. We know the press is a bunch of Dreamers. Still failing to see how I should watch one additional minute of this video. He’s preparing to go into an analysis on the distortions on immigration. Most of us were WITH Trump until we realized he started to pander with touchback deportation.
So, there you go. Ten minutes and not one thing in the video that would indicate that Trump is anything but a self-aggrandizing political windsock. If you feel my analysis is wrong, please point to the time hack *in the first 10 minutes* that would definitively dissuade someone, or at least plant enough doubt, that they should listen further.

I discovered Trevor Loudon in the summer of 2008 before the election. He Nailed Obama then - his Marxist past, his history, mentors, etc. Between his sites and Discover the Networks I freaked out in Sept-Oct that year and tried to inform as many people as I could about Obama before the 2008 election, but to no avail.
Trevor is a real conservative educator. Very interesting guy and very grateful the US saved New Zealand during WWII. His book THE ENEMIES WITHIN: Communists, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress a real eye opener.

So your going to someone who may well be a democrat instead of a Conservative Republican the GOP-e hates?
If Cruz had an exciting message that resonated with a majority of the GOP base he would have been polling well all along and if he was pulling in 7,000 to his rallies instead of 700 he would get a lot of MSM attention just like Bernie is. Sadly that is just not the case.
Cruz has a message the media doesn’t want people to hear. Have you been to a Cruz event? My parents just went in Washington, NH last week and were blown away by the guy. Now they are in to vote for him 100%.
If the media let his message get out - especially without adding snark - he’d poll much higher.
So it’s up to you to go see him. Because you won’t get much out of the MSM.

Beat Trump for the nomination and convince him to honor his promise not to run third party. At that point the avid Trump supporters have three choices: give their votes to Cruz, give their votes to Hillary or whomever replaces her, or act like the petulant cultists they're accused of but deny being and sit out. If they care about what they swear they care about they'll vote Cruz past 270. Beating Trump is the hard part, winning the general is the easy part.
However, if Trump fans still insist that only Trump can save the country, then they are still insisting the country is doomed, just delayed a term or too. If the country can only run properly with Trump at the helm and if he is such rare and unique person than what do we do after his one, or perhaps two (he is 67) terms? Do we fall back into the present morass? Do we become an American empire with a Trump Dynasty until some spawn of Ivanka turns Nero? Or do we get turned back into the only system that's ever really worked for us, the Constitution? For which only Cruz is faithfully pushing.

Your construction is the product of over a century of progressive public school propaganda and bad judicial decisions. Mine is what the Framers of both the original Constitution and the Fourteenth Amendment intended. Being born here not only shouldn't be the only thing doing with being a 'natural born' citizen it shouldn't have anything to do with being a citizen, period. Your misconstruction of the accident of birth location being determinant is seen in very few places outside of popular US beliefs and, oddly, Canada.
Its not my letter. Sorry your guy isn’t quite as pure as you wish he was. Ted is a career politician. He has held political office of some type for years. He’s certainly not an outsider and neither is his wife Heidi. They are not bad people but they are insiders. And not above fudging a little here and there to make things look a little better. :-)

I certainly want a win in 2016 but would a win with Trump end up being a win after his “deal making” with the GOP-e, the democrats, UN, foreign entities. What is his version of a “better managed” big government. He hasn’t said anything about getting rid of the IRS where will be with a vindictive Trump over the alphabet agencies? I will probably be flamed by saying The Donald is vindictive but he appears to try to destroy those who oppose him. Yes, I want to win but I want government fixed not the same old crap from a different would be tyrant. I believe polls show Senator Cruz would beat hillary.
