Itâs very simple. If a man has no moral center, if he has ambition but no faith, if he does not demonstrate humility or integrity, I will never vote for him for president. I donât care who he is, what heâs done, what he says, or what positions he holds. None of that will matter when we are living under his tyranny, and tyranny is sure to follow when you give unspeakable power to a man who believes he is God.
Iâll put this another way: if you vote for a man who worships himself over God, you deserve the tyranny that happens next.
You deserve it because you chose it, just as the souls in Hell deserve Hell because they chose it. If you go to the ballot box and say, âI am going to do my part to put this self-absorbed pagan in charge of my nationâ you are directly consenting to the inevitable result. You are embracing it. You are literally asking for it.
I know this will not resonate with atheists, but for us God-fearing folk it is extraordinarily obvious and irrefutable that we ought to only vote for other God-fearing folk. John Adams said, âOur Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.â I think it goes without saying that if the governed ought to be moral and religious, certainly the governors ought to be the same, and arguably more so.

You have a solid alternative in Ted Cruz.
I kind of like him, but frankly he sounded like a nerdy junior senator at the last debate, “I proposed this legislation...I proposed that legislation...” basically making the case that he ought to stay right there in the Senate with his proposals!! Where’s the leadership?
The democrats are manifesting evil directly, you no longer have to wonder if there is any good left in them, they have all chosen who it is they serve, and now these people (George Will, Beck, Jeb, Rubio Kasich, entire GOPe etc.,) are falling over themselves to get an established NWO Bush to the Party to lose to Hillary and Trump seems to be giving them all fevered nightmares,
I never listened to Beck because I always thought he was unstable just from his short stint on Fox News/CNN whichever it was?
Trump has now moved up in my estimation, (I’ve been for Cruz all along)
....And Sanders could be viewed as the George McGovern of the 2016 election year.
Too bad it’s not 1962 then...: )
In that case, let's write in Billy Graham.
What you are missing is that we are not electing a chaplin...we are trying to choose the person who can save this country.
Cruz has only been a Senator since 2012...but he has the managerial experience to save this country? Actually, as a Senator, he has NO managerial experience.
Sorry, just doesn't add up.
Jimmy Carter was a great Sunday school teacher but a terrible president.
I was not old enough to vote for President Reagan, but of course would have voted for him.
There is a HUGE difference a blowhard like between Donald J. Trump and the amazing President Reagan.
One had class, character, and convictions.
The other is just trying to appeal to the masses, whichever way he can with no moral compass to guide him.
Jesus told him, “Show me a coin.”
So the guy pulls a Roman denarii from his coin purse.
Jesus asks him, “Who’s picture is on that coin?”
The man replies, “Caesar’s”
Then Jesus said, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God, what is God’s.”
Next:
Paul told the Roman Christian and Jews what to do about the pagan Roman leadership and government:
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is Godâs minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
Sadly does Cruz even have a chance to win?
The best outcome could be a Trump/Cruz team, you never know it could be all for the good.
Cruz has a LONG track record of defending conservative principles.
Decades long.
Trump: 0 years
He has 5-7 years of rhetoric, all of which is filled with inconsistencies.
Just because a man can manage a company does not mean he is the man we so desperately need right now, especially when that company had been responsible for so many anti-conservative projects and issues over the years.
Nothing like kicking granny to the curb with the aid of the government to build your casino...
How will that play out during your personal judgement? Do you imagine that Christ will thank you for ushering in hell-on-earth?
Why are so many Freepers pharisees?
This year could very well be 1980 all over again.
Cruz has every chance of winning.
I would argue in the general, it is Teump who has a worse chance of winning. The polls show this by the way....
Besides, that’s a straw mans argument which was used against Reagan... How did that turn out...?
Ah...nothing like the smell of desperation in the morning.
Yep. Because everybody knows the path to God is through Goldman Sachs.
“I used to be part of the Establishment.” —Trump yesterday
Do we want an experienced member of the Establishment as president?
“The Establishment keeps contacting me... I don’t know how I feel about it.” —Trump yesterday
It sounds like Trump hasn’t shaken off his experience.
This doesn’t sound like something an anti-Establishment candidate would say.
Nor would an anti-Establishment candidate read his pro-ethanol mandate statement from a piece of paper.
Yup, fortunately we live in a country where we can elect godly men like Ted Cruz, whom God can place in authority over us.
And where do your personal loans against your money come from?
How about Trump and his money from George Soros... I think that might be worse than a loan from a bank...
Dan 4:17 This decision is by the decree of the watchers,
And the sentence by the word of the holy ones,
In order that the living may know
That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men,
Gives it to whomever He will,
And sets over it the lowest of men.
