Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.
I accept what Sarah has done and still support Ted Cruz....
I can’t change Sarah Palin and I also can’t change people who have said nasty things about Sarah like Glenn Beck, who has been very supportive of Ted Cruz.

I think everyone has learned, in this cycle, that it is a dumb thing to do. The candidate did it to allow others to do commercials without violating the rules about PACs but he didn’t see that people would use the footage to do damaging videos.
“Donald Trump said Tuesday that federal regulators should increase the amount of ethanol blended into the nation’s gasoline supply.”
And Trump wants to expedite the return of deportees, as long as they’re not criminals (aside from being illegal aliens).
The endorsement of Donald Trump by Sara Palin could not be any more important.
Sara Palin was the VP pick of John McCain. She was selected to bring over women and conservative voters to put McCain over the top. Considering how badly McCain lost, she failed miserably in this role. But that was not Palin’s fault. Palin was bushwacked by one of the most probing and adept journalists of all time, Katie Couric. The interview was a set-up and defined gotcha journalism from that point on. Couric asked Palin what magazines she read. There is just no way to prepare for such a gotcha question.
But this endorsement is still important. Palin was the Governor of Alaska. Her accomplishments in that post were unfortunately cut short when Palin voluntarily resigned.
As a reality tv star, the ratings were through the roof to the point that the reality show was rather short lived. The family values portrayed in that short-lived show were apparent. It was a real life depiction of traditional American family values. Nothing says mom and Apple pie quite like a daughter that campaigns for abstinence while habitually getting knocked up outside of wedlock.
Yes, the Palin endorsement is important. I am just not sure to whom.

Like it or not Cruz supporters, there has to be something you are missing.
Die-hard Conservatives are lining up behind Trump.
We have tried to tell you why. You have spit in our face for doing so.
Okay, start hating Sarah Palin too.
I guess that’s easier than discovering why you don’t get what is going on.

Blame it on Sarah never being who you thought she was.
Blame it on God, Satan, what other creatures you can dream up, or what other people you can think up.
Some of us have backed Trump because we see him as a man with the dynamics to really change this nation for the better.

Not only will Cruz not be VP,
I doubt Trump would nominate Cruz
for Supreme Court.
Cruz will be left toothless in the senate.

True. But I’ve looked at the posts and it’s more outright hatred on the Cruz side. If Palin backed Cruz, I don’t think she’d be bashed as much or as cruelly.
Reagan didn’t want Daddy Bush. He was kind of foisted on him to make amends tith the GOPe.
No harm, but this is a thread that was on fire.
This is where we find the actual support and just how much emotion will spill over.

That was a long, slow build up! The endorsement itself is almost anti-climactic. But kudos to Trump for garnering a very important endorsement in the GOP caucuses and primaries.
I just read a tragedy occurred, causing Dr. Carson to suspend his campaign. We must all pray for his staffers/volunteers/family and him.
I think he was working security detail. He had a gun.
Just to remind anybody, Rita OK despised Sarah Palin when she was on the right side, now that she has endorsed a liberal with NY Values you love her.
You dont think I remember a number of years ago, you were on every Palin thread bashing her, but now you like her because she endorses liberal lying Trump.
I admire her a little more today for her being the true rogue I had always thought she was.
