Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.
:)
I do support Cruz, but it amazes me how many of his supporters have no clue or can’t fathom the fact that a good many conservatives will be voting for Trump, and that was long before the Palin endorsement.
GO TRUMP GO
Away!
We have two very different candidates that can do amazing things for this country if elected. The tribal bickering is beyond ridiculous.
Links? Source?
I don't think I've ever read anything like this on Free Republic. There are forums and sites for this stuff. FR is not one. The Illuminati and the Rothschilds? Wow. Man. You need to put that crack pipe down before posting again.
There's only one thing that could possibly explain that bizarre proposal by an American politician: doing the bidding of his masters---the banksters, crony capitalists, cheap labor express, open borders crowd. From NY Banks to Silicon Valley (and I thought Rubio had all the donor-class in Silicon Valley sewn up for himself)
LOL!! I love that.
Vote your principles as you like.
I ask only that you accept that my principles may be similar to yours, but my worldview is likely more cynical. I like Cruz, but I doubt that even if he were elected, he’d be able to do anything against the cesspool of corruption in DC. And that is assuming that he’s as honest as his supporters think; after all that came out recently, I have my doubts.
On the other hand, I think that Trump is able to do so. Whether he’s lying or not, he’s ABLE to do so. If he IS lying, then we were screwed no matter what. If he’s not lying, then once he smashes the establishment, the next President will have the chance to roll things back even more.
So it’s not a matter of which candidate matches my principles the best; otherwise I’d write in myself. It’s a matter of which candidate I think will advance my principles the most in the long term.
Now, whether Palin supports Trump for the same reason is up for debate. But that’s what voting my principles means for me. Can you accept that and not call me a cultist or moron, as many people who claim to support Cruz have been doing?
That's the most severe case of TDS every known to man.
Newsflash: scientists identify link between PDS and TDS.
LOL! Thats funny. There is no desperation with Cruz. I dont get the big uproar with Palin. I liked her in 2008 but she has made several comments since that has made me wonder what she is really all about. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
“The only lines longer than those at Trump rallies should be all the supposed “Conservative Christians at church altars and confessionals for what they’re thinking, especially now. I’ve been apalled at the nastiness and poor attitudes of them. We have mutual enemies that will never get the pure hatred from them that we Trump supporters have.
Palin’s brand of Christianity isn’t found in God’s Word? Yours is. Your counterparts were called Pharisees.”
EXCELLENT post - and bears repeating! Thank you.
Sarah Palin is not desperate for money. She is estimated to be worth $12 million. The junior senator from Texas is much more desperate to win Iowa, the only state where he is polling well. He is even behind in his own state of TEXAS where people know him best.
Putting some one ( Trump or Cruz up against Hillary ), now, is just people's opinions, many if not MOST of them have NEVER seen the Hillary V Lazio debates.
Cruz, no matter what you or others say, is NOT a "good" ( forget about "GREAT" ) debater in a political setting. Hillary is a rather unconventional debater and Ted doesn't do well, thinking on his feet. He memorizes his answers/possible replies and so loses to her, IF she even makes it that far and he won't.
Whether or not some usual GOPers won't vote for Trump, if he is the nominee, is one thing, but he will NEVER get a very large portion of Trump's supporters to vote for him in the general. You aren't reading reality well.
Now, let's talk about Ted of some GOEer V Bernie. LOL
Stay home and DON’T post here either !
They’re all delusional and live in their own twee bubble.
Can Sarah straighten out Trump on ethanol subsidies?
At the moment I could go with either Cruz or Trump, but Trump has dinged himself significantly with his support of ethanol subsidies — and I say that as a person living in an area that mostly benefits from those subsidies.
Don’t get me wrong, both men have plenty of faults and / or liabilities, just fewer by far than any of the Dems...
Well Pro, I think I'll just neutralize your anti-American vote and ask KC to put me ON the Sarah Palin ping list.
Make America Great Again!
