Trump told the audience at Liberty University that to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States he would make Apple "build their damn computers and things in this country." While this isn't a bad idea, or even the first time it has been suggested, Trump didn't offer any specifics on how he would force Apple to abruptly change its manufacturing.
"Please, we have such amazing people in this country: smart, sharp, energetic, they're amazing," Trump said. 'I was saying make America great again, and I actually think we can say now, and I really believe this, we're gonna get things coming... we're gonna get Apple to start building their damn computers and things in this country, instead of in other countries."
There's currently no legal reason as to why Apple would have to bring all of its manufacturing stateside under a Trump presidency, although factors like incentives and tax breaks for the company could be offered. Nevertheless, Trump didn't detail his plans for forcing Apple to manufacture in the United States at all.

No specifics? Of course, it's all just more nonsense talk.
Sometimes I just wish he'd shut his pie hole. Just for a day.

They deserve it. Make them live up to their own rules, right?

Sometimes I just wish he'd shut his pie hole. Just for a day. No, let him spew. He'll eventually piss off everyone here since he just talks off the top of his head and he has absolutely NO Core values.
None.
It'll all come out.

...although factors like incentives and tax breaks for the company could be offered...the main trouble with Trump's cure-all of manipulating taxes on companies and other countries to get them to comply with his plans is that he does not have unilateral taxing power - it's up to Congress, particularly the House, to come up with revenue-raising measures such as taxes according to the Constitution - come to think of it, maybe Trump's main trouble is that he was to become better acquainted with the Constitution.....

At one time during speech, he made a deep breath.

Isn’t this the same thing as telling companies they can’t move? Make America great again and they won’t have to!

Only loser Presidents go through Congress. Winners like Obama and Trump don’t need Congress to pass laws.
What an absolutely rube. I am afraid that if he gets elected, he will have to spend the transition time going to civics 101.

Trump could pick Bernie Sanders as his running mate at a rally tomorrow and his hard core supporters would still stand by him.About a third of the people on this forum would just make excuses for him.
What core value has Donald Trump ever held?
He talks like a conservative out of the right side of his mouth and talks like a socialist out of the other.
He claims HE is going to make America Great again. Not let the American people do it (like Reagan) but he alone (like Obama).
Trump thinks that with a pen and a phone he can make the utopia he envisions.
And people here fall for it like this was Jonestown and we were all getting ready for a kool aid party.
