Donald Trump, speaking to a religious crowd at Virginia's Liberty University on Monday, turned to scripture.

"We're going to protect Christianity. I can say that. I don't have to be politically correct," he said. "Two Corinthians, 3:17, that's the whole ballgame ... is that the one you like?"

I’ve heard others say 2 when referring to the second book of the Bible - these people are such Pharisees - those that Jesus despised because they think they are so righteous - and Jesus had a few choice words for them. Those criticizing Trump need to repent for their arrogance.

Do you really believe that Trump is a follower of Christ? Really? You don’t have to judge anything. It’s not judging. He SAID he has never asked God for forgiveness. Right? You just take him at his word and know. There is no judgement there. There is no nothing. Just a guy saying he has never asked God for forgiveness.

RE:”I liked Trump but I've lost my faith in him.”

They all BS. Both parties candidates and even Ted.

However Trump's BS-o-meter is going into orbit.

No surprise to me at all.
All I didn't know was 'When'. when it would become obvious HERE.

I don’t know many people who have publicly, in front of the media, discussed what they’ve asked God for.

If Trump wants to keep the private,,who are YOU or anyone else to judge?

Oh wait,, sorry,,you apparently have a superior belief.

There is more of that in play than folks would believe. Little bathhouse barry bastard boy would never have soiled the White House had the too good to get involved not stayed home on election day. The strategerists are hoping to accomplish that again. The aspects of a huge conswervative turnout ruin the chances to cheat the vote outcome!

I say "Two Corinthians" all the time.

Well, I guess we'll just have to dig a second hole at the Soccer Stadium, and the FReeper Fatwah Fellows can stone you and Donald Trump at the same time.

He didn’t say that he didn’t want to list his sins. He said he has never asked God for forgiveness. Did you miss what he said? Are you serious?

“... Teddy and his nutty Dominionist dad.”

Yes, Ted Cruz is a follower of Christ. And his dad makes a big deal of Genesis 1:28.

I guess to non-Christians, people like that seem hyper-religious, to the point of coming across as “nutty.”

I wonder if Jesus was ready to throw out his followers if they could not recite scriptures the “true” way, or did he simply want people with a good heart?

Yep.... Trump said he has never asked God for forgiveness. Said when he makes a mistake he just goes on and tries not to again. That’s what he said. That is not Christianity.....

“Yes, he said two instead of second.”

Are you familiar with the biblical story of the “shibboleth”???
