n a sermon last year at an Irving, Texas, megachurch that helped elect Ted Cruz to the United States Senate, Cruzâ father Rafael Cruz indicated that his son was among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as âkingsâ to take control of all sectors of society, an agenda commonly referred to as the âSeven Mountainsâ mandate, and âbring the spoils of war to the priestsâ, thus helping to bring about a prophesied âgreat transfer of wealthâ, from the âwickedâ to righteous gentile believers.

Agree. It appears to me that Ted's dad is on some outer orbit, religiously speaking, and is unfortunately linking his son to his odd beliefs.
Ted and his advisors need to get the old man to tone it down before it hurts Ted in the primary.
Ted Cruz’s father actively fought for Fidel Castro and his revolution in Cuba.
You have read or seen ‘Seven Mountains’ statement:
The term “Dominion Theology” is derived from the King James Bible’s rendering of Genesis 1:28, the passage in which God grants humanity “dominion” over the Earth.
And God blessed [ Adam and Eve ], and God said unto them, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
In the late 1980s, several prominent evangelical authors used the phrase Dominion Theology (and other terms such as dominionism) to label a loose grouping of theological movements that made direct appeals to this passage in Genesis.[1] Christians typically interpret this passage as meaning that God gave humankind responsibility over the Earth, but the distinctive aspect of Dominion Theology is that it is interpreted as a mandate for Christian stewardship in civil affairs, no less than in other human matters.
Seven Mountains[edit]
David Barton has advocated what he calls “seven mountains prophecy” where Christian conservatives should control and dominate “family, religion, education, media, entertainment, business and government
Watch the VIDEOS for yourself. Trump isn't in them. Rafael and Ted are, and they are very disturbing.
I am fairly versed in what Christ is reported to have said. He makes no mention of anybody anointed to take control of society in His name....
Christ is reported to warn of mass deception though. And many coming in His name making all manner of claims...
So what say you Ted Cruz supporters about this? Ted’s dad apparently thinks that Ted is the Lord’s anointed destined to take control of society.
I don’t understand why people don’t see how dangerous this kind of thinking is. I was raised in a cult. The only way to deal with them is to stay far, far away.
Rafael and Rafael.
“Ted” is his stage name.
Here is the actual video on youtube of the sermon I believe, dated August 26 2012 in where Rafael Cruz makes the statements. Donât shoot the messenger just because you donât like the statements made by the father.
This is Rev. Wright all over again. LOL.
This is Ted’s micro targeted campaign message, almost exclusively to Evangelicals and no one else. There is no crisis or interview where he does not invoke IOWA, New Hampshire, and his prayer life.
I like that he is a Christian, but flogging it over a long period of time has made it seem embarrassingly close to a campaign tool, or pandering to one segment in a desperate must win attempt at Iowa.
Many Evangelicals noticed his absence in issuing a shred of support to other conservatives during their live or die campaigns fighting in their state elections, last round.
Now we learn he gave McConnell & Company in the NRSC, $200,000 dollars during that state election cycle, and which was unbeknownst to us, and which was used by the Barbour machine to issue the MISSISSIPPI TREATMENT against deeply conservative Matt Bevins, who was leading that race against the mule for the Establishment, Thad Cochran.
Cruz never uttered a peep to lend moral support, vocal support nor financial support to defend Bevins, who was an awesome TEA PARTY candidate, and was taken down by that effort.
ALL of us at FR were enraged at the Establishment behavior, and Cruz was good for advancing it, to the tune of $200,000.00. Unforgivable.
Have you watched the video? It’s CRuz’s OWN dad, talking about his son, Ted.
David Barton and Glenn Beck also subscribe to this theology. Barton is CRuz’s PAC-man/Director.
Blasting CTH is a typical distraction, for the CRuzer’s.
Yet, you are A-OK with ‘Conservative’ Review’s fake candidate ratings/twister board. CR is run by CRuz BFF Daniel Horowitz. Can you say Bias much?
He’s just a proud father, with above average articulation.
It’s not as though there was a YouTube video showing Dad placing a jeweled crown on Teds head
or wrapping a stole of ermine across Ted’s shoulders.
This hokum just pegged the meter on my B.S. detector!!!
Do both of them believe this stuff?
And yet, those here, who don't know, nor understand ANYTHING whatsoever about Trump's Presbyterianism make idiot crack about him? I may just get fed up enough, one day, to post the tenets of Presbyterianism to a thread, after the pack of HOLIER THAN THOUers attack Trump. :-)
So what say you Ted Cruz supporters about this? Tedâs dad apparently thinks that Ted is the Lordâs anointed destined to take control of society.
They are not going to say anything: “LA LA LA LA I can’t hear you”. Which is exactly how it went down with Rev. Wright. Nothing to see here, move along, etc., etc.
This sure does explain why the ‘original intent’ of the Constitutional requirements to hold the office of president are not applicable to Cruz....
The more I learn about Cruz the more I am stunned at the many that have fallen for his deception.
Cruz is the Antichrist!
“Ted and his advisors need to get the old man to tone it down before it hurts Ted in the primary. “

They sure do.
.
No, it isn’t a “hit piece” at all; it is an eyeopening revelation, as to what Cruz’s father believes. It has NOTHING at all to what Jesus, the Christ preached.
