n a sermon last year at an Irving, Texas, megachurch that helped elect Ted Cruz to the United States Senate, Cruzâ father Rafael Cruz indicated that his son was among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as âkingsâ to take control of all sectors of society, an agenda commonly referred to as the âSeven Mountainsâ mandate, and âbring the spoils of war to the priestsâ, thus helping to bring about a prophesied âgreat transfer of wealthâ, from the âwickedâ to righteous gentile believers.

Maybe they’re all ‘anointed’, in some way :) They’re certainly all connected.
Cruz’ father left Cuba two years before Castro took power. Castro’s army was still a ragged band of guerillas in the mountains.
And WHO knew about this stuff? I sure didn't and I don't know anyone else that did, before now.
This stuff was VERY hidden up until very recently, except for the *cough*insiders*cough*.
And some posters here have their collective noses bent out of joint re Trump, because he doesn't follow what their particular sect of Christianity does? Not a one of them even knows about PREDESTINATION, I bet.
God Bless for tomorrow and g’ night.
.
Conservative treehouse is not a reliable “messinger.”
The Adams family are warm and cuddly compared to Cersei and the undertaker.
.
How about the Trumpets that promote snakes for president?
LOL!!!
Well you do have a point, they are keeping the scimitars out of view so we should be thankful for that. My point was while folks can believe what they want...I do not think this would do Ted well in the General. Beyond Iowa I don’t think it sells very well. Maybe I am wrong and if that is the case, then sign my up for the next anointment I guess.
That’s why they had been just as much (if not more) for Trump lately? Especially with the “birther” crap?
If you actually listen to the sermons, Ted’s dad is basically saying that all of the people who are not pastors are anointed to be kings going out into the world and with Gods blessing taking over the marketplace and bringing back a tithe of the money they make to the priests (ie the pastors).
Its big time health and wealth theology - which is very false theology. However, he is not claiming that his son has been uniquely anointed to take over the United States. Clips from different sermons are pieced together to make you think he is talking about his son when actually he is talking about everyone in the congregation.
.
I think I’d have great difficulty believing in a God that would anoint Trump!
Yep.
Of course only Jesus, and in Grace alone..
That does not have anything to do with Ted Cruz and this post, as neither one of us know his heart, mwe can only go by his public actions and words. This vid, imo doesn’t prove Cruz is a cultist.
Here’s the entire sermon:

The one primarily relied on in the CT post.
At a 1:41.40 into the sermon, Rafael says that the entire congregation are anointed as priests, queens, and kings.
Just like I referenced earlier from the Bible.
Very misleading article.
But it is true that lefties will attack Cruz as being ‘too Christian’ should he advance to the general election or get nominated for the Supreme Court.
O pointy birds, o pointy pointy, anoint my head, anointy-nointy.
Exactly my take, friend.
And just WHERE is that said?
You canât control society. Look at Saloth Sar (Pol Pot). When he took over, under the Khmer Rouge, they declared it “The Year Zero”, money was essentially banned - you can find photos of the Cambodian currency blowing down the street as no “citizen” was allowed to use it - only the “Organization” (government) in exchange with other countries), 2 million Cambodians of a total national population of 8 million “died” (in quotes, it was mostly murder, mass-murder, genocide of their own people), many Cambodian actually never knew Saloth’s name even, they only heard of the “Organization” which was basically some “religion” or better “cult”, I mean Saloth Sar may have been a French educated Socialist but really his mind was into the same dynamics that I am reading from this âPreacherâ and about âcontrol societyâ, a sort of religion but I donât think Jesus was much about “control society” no matter how you spin it.
This is of the same mind set that would end up with 1-Fourth of the US population “disappeared” into another “year zero”.
Wrong. See the entire sermon, which I posted.
You can disagree with the theology, but you’ve incorrectly stated it.
