If you actually listen to the sermons, Ted’s dad is basically saying that all of the people who are not pastors are anointed to be kings going out into the world and with Gods blessing taking over the marketplace and bringing back a tithe of the money they make to the priests (ie the pastors).
Its big time health and wealth theology - which is very false theology. However, he is not claiming that his son has been uniquely anointed to take over the United States. Clips from different sermons are pieced together to make you think he is talking about his son when actually he is talking about everyone in the congregation.
Exactly my take, friend.
Wrong. See the entire sermon, which I posted.
You can disagree with the theology, but you’ve incorrectly stated it.
What about Cruz citing Lawrence Tribe the leftist when it suits him, (Ted):
quoting Tribe: “Apparently Senator Cruz doesn’t think I’m too far left for him to cite me in his supreme court brief on behalf of 31 states as a principal authority on constitutional interpretation â when it suits his purposes,” said Tribe.
That would mean that Ted, his son is a ‘king’ if he is not a pastor/priest? That would be a big haul if Ted became president...
God only required 10% tithe, and Christ spoke against carrying begging bags in His name... Christ is not reported to have ever taken up a collection when He taught.
