Donald Trump unloaded on Sen. Ted Cruz, saying, "I'd do the public a big favor" by suing Cruz over his eligibility to be president.

Stephanopoulos then said, "But you know, the person who sued him probably doesn't have standing, a lot of legal scholars-." Trump interrupted, saying, "That's all right. There will be a lot of people who sue him who do have standing."
"Say you have standing, why don't you file the case," Stephanopoulos asked. Trump responded, "Oh that's an interesting case. Wow that sounds like a very good case. I'd do the public a big favor."

You want to bet money SCOTUS will reverse about 200 years of rock-solid consistent precedent to rescue Cruz? Or are you planning to fool the public and hope SCOTUS never takes it up, once the people have spoken?

Trump won’t Sue C ruz but they will both put pressure on the RNC to get this issue resolved sooner rather than later

Trump would not have had standing to sue Obama. Only Hillary and McCain would have had standing.
The 2 people who were going to present a petition at the DNC Convention (that would have forced a second vote, thereby releasing Obama’s delegates to vote for Hillary once she exposed his ineligibility) each died in succession within days of agreeing to do so, in the 2 weeks before the Convention. Then Bill and Hillary were told Chelsea would die if they pursued it so they gave up on it, instead having their proxy - Phil Berg - file suit. And the judge was taking it seriously until he did a quick 180-degree turnaround shortly after Obama returned from visiting HI...
John McCain got a phone call from Obama about a week after the 9-11-08 run on the bank (our Middle East intel had been saying a financial act of terrorism was imminent, and Soros had asked both Hillary and Obama if they were on-board with his plan to destroy the US economy). A couple hours later McCain was on TV announcing that he was suspending his campaign. He silenced Palin, who has since said that they should have pursued Obama’s eligibility issue. That guy - just like Bush, who gave a speech to the nation that same night, saying Armageddon was upon us if we didn’t pass TARP - acted like he was scared spitless. He probably got the same threat that the media heads got in October of 2008, that something terrible was going to happen if they didn’t gag their on-air personalities from discussing Obama’s eligibility issues and Muslim leanings.
IOW, the people who had standing against Obama were threatened into silence. That’s why I call it a coup. It was a very deliberate criminal installation of a foreign enemy combatant into our White House.
That is what needs to be exposed, and right now is the only time that Donald Trump could do a thing about it. I’m hoping and praying that both Trump and Cruz - both good, patriotic men - will work together to finally expose the coup of 2008.

I did read your entire post. I responded the way I did because Trump is willing to use RAT tactics to win. I expect that from the RATS, I don’t expect it from a man who complained about being treated fairly. The Donald even said himself that he was only attacking Cruz on the birther issue because Ted is a threat to him. As for the reason why I back Cruz, and Trump was my second choice, Ted is a Conservative, Trump is not. And if he goes through with this, I will NEVER vote for Trump.

The day will come when they tell us that a child of a Gambian mother and a Mongolian father living unmarried in Australia at the time of the child’s birth is a natural born citizen of the United States simply because they “believe in America”. I think Trump needs to push this because if he wins the nomination the Dems would have run with “Trump is a racist because he challenged Obama’s citizenship status”. Now Trump has shown he is a equal opportunity birther. Preemptive action. A little painful, but a necessary and wise move.
All while supporting Trump.

Grayson can’t (and wouldn’t) file until after Cruz has the nomination - when it’s too late for us to get a different candidate if sticks an carrots get a judge to take out Cruz. We HAVE to have this settled before then. The sooner, the better.
Trump saying he’d talk to Ted about it is a very, very good sign. I REALLY, REALLY hope they are together on this, and that Cruz pleads - at least in part - that Obama being POTUS even after the HI state registrar indirectly confirmed that Obama’s HI BC is legally non-valid sets a precedent for a foreign-born person to be POTUS. And I hope Trump’s lawyer cedes that point, meaning that the judge has to accept it as fact unless he does something to bring the actual evidence into court. Discovery on that will be SWEET - as long as Loretta Fuddy doesn’t tell the regime thugs who needs to be “eliminated”...
