‘American Sailors Started Crying After Arrest’
Atlas Shrugs ^ | 1/16/16 | Pamella Geller

A senior Iranian military commander in charge of the countrys Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed that the 10 U.S. sailors who were recently captured and subsequently released by the Islamic Republic 'started crying after [their] arrest,' according to Persian language comments made during military celebrations this weekend.

Hossein Salami, deputy commander of the IRGC, which is responsible for boarding the U.S. ships and arresting the sailors, claimed in recent remarks, the 'American sailors started crying after arrest, but the kindness of our Guard made them feel calm.'

Hossein went on to brag that the incident provides definitive evidence of the Iranian militarys supremacy in the region.

'Since the end of the Second World War, no country has been able to arrest American military personnel,' the commander said, according to an independent translation of his Persian-language remarks made Friday during a 'martyrs commemoration ceremony' in Isfahan.

Since the capture and release of the U.S. sailors this week, critics of the Obama administrations handling of the situation have expressed embarrassment at State Departments move to profusely thank Iran, despite its release of photos depicting the sailors on their knees with their hands held over their heads.

Iranian state television additionally published video purporting to show one of the detained soldiers apologizing to Iran.

Meanwhile, during Friday prayers in Iran, a commander of the IRGC unit that detained the U.S. boats and claimed that the American military cowered when faced down by Iranian troops.

'I saw the weakness, cowardice, and fear of American soldiers myself. Despite having all of the weapons and equipment, they surrendered themselves with the first action of the guardians of Islam,' Ahmad Dolabi, an IRGC commander, said in Persian-language remarks at a prayer service in Irans Bushehr providence.

'American forces receive the best training and have the most advanced weapons in the world,' he added. 'But they did not have the power to confront the Guard due to weakness of faith and belief.'

Dolabi emphasized that the Obama administration formally apologized over the incident, a claim that senior White House official continue to dispute.

'We gave all of the weapons and equipment to American forces according to an Islamic manner. They formally apologized to the Islamic Republic' Dolabi said. 'Be certain that with the blood of martyrs, the revolution advances. No one can inflict the smallest insult upon our Islamic country.'

Those Sailors were probably ordered not to engage.

Each Riverine Boat had a Chain Gun and .50 Cal Machine guns.
They could have defended themselves...

Very disappointing to see Pamela Geller spreading Iranian state propaganda, and then to see it posted here.

Oh.. are you expecting to have the MSM tell us this?

Geller is enlightening those who may not be paying attention to the circumstances, or the situation.

And so the message is sent and received: enter the Gulf Americans and we will force you to surrender you fancy big ships without a shot being fired - Iran could use a nice big ocean going fleet and a shinny new American super carrier. Oh we are so happy!

That is plausible, but what we don’t know is probably everything. The truth is likely miles away from what either government has been saying.

“TWO boats broke down, huh. Not one, but TWO. At the same time.”

One broke down. The other stayed with them until they ran out of fuel

“ALL their GPS gear malfunctioned.”

No verification of that at all. They only people claiming that are the Iranians and a forced “apology” by the US commander.

“ALL their commo gear was on the fritz.”

Comm gear was working at all times, with the Task Force in contact but, because of obozo, we no longer have enough ships in the Gulf to respond quickly.

My read: One boat broke down, the other boat stayed with them, and eventually ran out of fuel, the US Navy told them the Navy was on the way but it would take time, so the Iranians seized the opportunity and grabbed them when they were in international waters and well before the US Navy could respond.

Of course, this is based on my reading news reports and a couple of Navy contacts in Bahrain.

He should be face a Court Martial. His actions were against all known military doctrine! This was a set up by The bastard in chief and his adviser in the White hut, Valarie Jarrett.
The entire scenario is fishy. The Iranian's should have faced resistance by the crews and the force and might of the US military. They were not notified of the incident or were told to “stand down!” This has BENGHAZI written all over it. Our forces were minutes away...What Happened Hussein?

We might not be able to “inflict the smallest insult upon their Islamic Country,” but we can inflict a very LARGE one and should ASAP! Nuke the bastards.

If true it was tears of sorrow after realizing their Commander in Chief handed them over to the enemy.

Nope. Even if one boat “broke down” the other tows it and they continue on their way. That is SOP. In fact, both boats have two diesel engines. So, all four engines “broke down?”

This was not a routine port security op, “pulling a shift.” This was a redeployment from Kuwait to Bahrain, that is why they had their passports.

Before such a trip, the engines are meticulously maintained, I mean, like NASCAR. All new filters, belts, everything checked and rechecked.

The boats did not “break down” or “run out of fuel” or “go aground” or “drift into Iranian waters.”

See #8. This was an act of piracy in international waters. The worst part is, our own side is part of the cover-up.

The whole deal is fishy, who would surrender to people known for their torture and cruelty?

If it wasn’t mechanical, and it wasn’t, all they had to do was turn right (SW) and land on the beach in Bahrain.

Oh I don’t know. These were seamen under ROE. I might cry in frustration.

But remember it is now an inclusive military where feelings are more important than facts. It is conceivable

“Sometimes FR gets too much into the evil conspiracy thing.”

Valid point. Conspiracies run rampant in times of deception and treason. However, The timing of this weeks events are fascinating, you must admit. This benevolent rescue of our errant sailors, then the release of hostages, from a society who knows only how to chant ‘Death to America’, within mere HOURS of the finalization of the “deal” to release the 100 B to the Iranians! Do you really believe that this timing is an incredible coincidence? On the other side of conspiracy thinking is pure naivete.

Oh really?! You find fault in Ms. Geller in all this. Very interesting. I suppose you would prefer Ms. Geller keeps her mouth shut, and follows the “lead” of the MSM? A fascinating comment. Why don’t you take this opportunity to educate us further as to your enlightened state.
