Actually, unless a judge wants to dismiss Cruz because he or she is a leftist activist, which of course IS possible, objectively in the legal ruling sense, Cruz has no problem.

The view these days seem to be Cruz was born to an American mother and a Cuban father who had been a legal resident long enough for there to be no problems.

The reality is I can pretty much guarantee that an objective court would rule since Cruz never had to be naturalized he is natural born.

You can argue that it conflicts with the meaning of the founders, and I too am interested in that. But even that was amended twice in rather short order after they put it in.

Cruz has a bit of a pproblem in the court of public opinion. I am not saying that is irrelevant.

Please pass around the bottle/pipe so we can see what you’re partaking in ;-)

A Declaratory Judgement, or (if necessary) a lawsuit, will only clarify CRuz’s situation....that is, of course, unless there’s something CRuz does not want exposed.

Rubio is my senator.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that I will NOT ever vote for a ticket with a Rubio name in it.

The man is not bright, but he does memorize his GOPe establishment talking points well. He pretended to be conservative when he initially ran for Florida senate.

You may remember as soon as he got to DC, he refused to even meet with the Tea Party “caucus” of fellow congressmen there.
It didn’t take long to show his true colors.

I don’t think Trump will pick any of the other candidates as VP. In fact, I don’t think he will even select a politician at all. I’m hoping he picks a young, successful businessman.

My thought is the RNC will file the suit as to clarify CRUZ Rubio Santorum Jindall and even Trumps qualification. They will state that they want party unity and not divisive lawsuits within the party. Blah blah blah

Yep, that's my fear. As a result, we'll end up with Jebby.

We need to focus on the real carrot ----->Trump or Cruz.

Let’s see tough guy Donald do it. He won’t because he doesn’t like to waste his money, it will make him look desperate and like a fool and it will put to rest this silly “ issue” once and for all. Then we can all look at the Donald’s history of supporting every leftist out there.

Trump likes leverage, Trump does not hand back leverage.
McCain had iffy eligibilty. I always wonder what the Dems extracted from the RNC to produce the senate resolution and stand down on challenges

This ploy just might boomerrang and explode in 0bama’s face.
The FBI takes out Hillary. Hillary has no one to pardon or protect her.

Go long popcorn, the fun will start in a month or two

Cruz and Trump are taking themselves out because people are sick of the back and forth show. No way I can vote for Trump any more - he is quite liberal as he states himself. Cruz won’t be able to stand against the waves, even if they are false.

Sounds like you're falling for the trap. Don't forget, Trump brought up the border and loudly. He's the only one that says no to Syrian refugees. He's strong on the 2nd Amendment. Cruz is for increasing H1B visas, he voted with McConnell on TPP.

There are plenty of reasons to vote for or against either one of them. If we stay focused on making sure one of the two get elected, ie: quit all the nasty infighting, we can stave off the Jebs.

Maybe “The Donald” should ask Mark Levin for clarification.

No we need to support both so Jeb and company does not move up. Keep the top two high. Don’t let other move up just like the line guards the backfield It may not be the quarterback that scores but one of the receivers. We are those big shoulder strong line that protects them

You are correct.

At the time of his birth, Cruz’s father was a Cuban citizen. It’s the same scenario as Obama. Neither are natural born citizens.

However, since Obama was deemed eligible, for the Supreme Court to then rule Cruz is ineligible would cause unimaginable repercussions. What to do with all those “laws”, “trade deals”, and “executive actions” that transpired under Obama?

That’s why they would never rule that Cruz was not eligible.
What a complete mess. I think Pandora’s box has been opened.

In order to have standing Donald Trump would have to show that he has been harmed, actually or imminently. It cant be speculative.

The courts will sanction Trumps lawyers for filing a frivolous lawsuit.

Ted refused to provide proper financials FRAUD. He FORGOT about the 2nd loan too. And lets not forget he has been slandering and smearing Trump in Iowa for weeks with Push Polls. Ted gets whatever he has coming to him. And what favors does he owe Wall Street? Whatever those favors are I guarantee its not good for Americans

Bingo

RNC will ask for judgment for all of these candidates C ruz Rubio , Santorum , Jindall and even Trump. Any candidate who has a parent that was once or was non citizen or born off the land.
It must be done sooner rather than later so not to “harm” the Republican Party

That’s the core issue.
Folks cannot agree, lawsuits are inevitable.

If you have a US citizen father, a US citizen mother, and born on US soil, no one can deny you are a US citizen, and a Natural Born US Citizen.

Also, any eligibilty lawsuit fails to takoff! How do you challenge the citizenship of such a person, unless said person renounced US citizenship and pleged. alligence to a different Country????.
