There goes the VP slot.

Sounds just like Dingy Harry Reid.

There goes the VP slot. Why do you want to sideline Cruz into the VP slot when there are fare better places for him to serve his country. He could stay in the Senate or perhaps AG or JCSC to replace Roberts should we be so lucky as to convince Mr. "It's a tax" that he should resign as there is nothing he can do to save his legacy and reputation after that one.

No, Trump will moderate in two days and eventually choose Cruz as VP, “showing how even-handed and forgiving” he is.
This is transparent show material.

Not so. Remember how Bush (#1) insulted Reagan?
Called Reagan's ideas "Voodoo economics"?
But he still ended up as Reagan's VP!
Politics is a dirty game no matter if it's Dems or Repubs playing.
It's still a long was to election day

I'm clearly on record on being a Donald Trump admirer, but a staunch Ted Cruz campaigner.
The other night Donald Trump said he would NOT pursue legal action against Ted Cruz, now Donald has changed his mind.
Sadly, I now admit to being "wrong" about the Cruz-Trump "dust-up" as political theater.
Apparently, Donald Trump's ego can NOT deal with being second in Iowa ... that is a BAD sign.
So sad.
Not even George S. Patton, Jr. believed he was ENTITLED to WIN every battle.

There goes the VP slot.If only he had not let overambition carry himself away with himself, he might have had the ideal stepping-stone to the White House after Trump. He has let himself be flattered by donors and supporters who are too right-wing to understand the median state of the nation. He stands no chance of getting elected in the general, so what a loss, really. Slow and steady wins the race, Ted. Better luck next time.

Maybe the AG slot for ‘Nasty’ Cruz. He can go after Hillary and crew. Cruz should like the persona. Heh.

They both need to chill out and focus on the issues.
