The fracas between the Republican presidential front-runners escalated Sunday as Donald Trump went after Ted Cruz's likability, calling him a "nasty guy."
"Nobody likes him, nobody in Congress likes him, nobody likes him anywhere once they get to know him," Trump said in an interview airing on ABC's "This Week."
After weeks of circling each other, the gloves came off between Cruz and Trump in Thursday's debate, as Trump questioned Cruz's birthright citizenship and Cruz attacked Trump's "New York values."

Lay off the Brawndo.
If Trump is so smart, how did he not know what Obama was before he was elected?
My eyes and ears are open. I’ve spent six months as a near Trump supporter, but he simply is not showing the temperament to be president nor intellectually being anything close to a conservative. He’s right on a number of issues right now. He’s been on the wrong side of many of those issues in the past. That’s fine, but he doesn’t seem to have a grasp on conservative solutions for most of these issues.
He’s for dismantling Obamacare. Good, but he constantly cites Canada’s system and European universal systems as better. Not good. I looked past that. He’s awesome on having a pro-American government. He’s hard on the political class in Washington on both sides. Great! Now, he’s quoting those same ‘losers’ to call Cruz Nasty, when Cruz has been the one challenging these same people on all the issues Trump calls important.
It’s a problem...a real problem that he cannot control himself with these media tirades. I’ve given him a pass, in hopes that he gets control and starts acting like a presidential leader. He’s simply not doing it. Voting starts soon, and if he demonstrated a new phase, I am all for Trump. He’s not. I am moving away from him as a viable option. When it comes to Florida’s vote, I am much less likely to to support him now than a few weeks ago.
Well, you at least seem to be honest in that you actually *were* a near Trump supporter.
Trump is conservative in his lifestyle & his beliefs (I’m sure you know the list) but he is not Conservative(â¢). Which is probably why he’’s appealing to such a broad swath of voters/ the politically engaged.
We all have to vote based on assessments of what we see.
When he fails to get the required number of delegates to be nominated, will Cruz hand the delegates he does get over to Jeb?
What disparaging comment has he made about about Trumps mother? All he said was that she was born in Scotland and that she was a naturalized citizen. Trump did not deny it.
You have to remember that anything from Politico has to be taken with a grain of salt. You are correct not to trust Politico, who’s whole purpose is to get Hillary elected as the next occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
I could not have said it any better
Trump didn’t even deny it
If there is no reason to bring someones mother into the fray, then if you do it your a snake. Cruz is a snake...ok?
So, by questioning Cruz’s eligibility because of the birthplace of his parents and the fact that his MOTHER gave birth to him in Canada, Trump is a snake. Got it. /sarc
Definitely suffering from CDS
