Donald Trump‘s tweetstorm against Ted Cruz today culminated in him posting a photo of the rubble after the 9/11 attack:
Is this the New York that Ted Cruz is talking about & demeaning? pic.twitter.com/rYGX9vazku — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016 |
And boy, did a lot of people have a problem with that:
I didn't like @tedcruz's "New York values" trope. But this vulgar exploitation of 9/11 by @realDonaldTrump is worse. https://t.co/TLYvEJQ0Qe — Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) January 16, 2016 |
No, this is the New York of a heroism & sacrifice that @realDonaldTrump has never demonstrated or even appreciated. https://t.co/TLYvEJQ0Qe — Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) January 16, 2016 |
Even Giuliani was better than this. Although just barely. https://t.co/4Qjer4qxj8 — Allahpundit (@allahpundit) January 16, 2016 |
.@realDonaldTrump See? I'll use some tragedy to further MY goals. I have no shame. I want to win this bitch and will do whatever it takes! — Fake Donald Trump (@TheFakeTrump) January 16, 2016 |
@realDonaldTrump ANYONE TO DUMB TO BELIEVE TED CRUZ WAS TALKING ABOUT THE P8C ABOVE AND NOT ABOUT NY'S LIBERALS THEN YOUR TOO DUMB TO VOTE. — RANDY FORREST (@FORREST077) January 16, 2016 |
@realDonaldTrump @ArmorCavSpin No it's the one that elected Bloomberg, Cuomo and DeBlasio. The leftist, asshat totalitarian NY. — Marcus Porcius (@Marcus_Porcius) January 16, 2016 |
. @realDonaldTrump My respect for you is going the the same direction as your bullshit attacks on @tedcruz . Down in the gutter … — brockasso (@itsmebrock) January 16, 2016 |
No, it's this one. RT @realDonaldTrump: Is this the New York that Ted Cruz is talking about & demeaning? pic.twitter.com/GLODa1COGR — STU BURGUIERE (@WorldOfStu) January 16, 2016 |
@realDonaldTrump alright….enough milking 9/11….its getting distasteful already — Greg (@PrairieDevil) January 16, 2016 |
@realDonaldTrump And stop pimping out the worst terrorist attack in US History because your poll numbers are dropping. — Jesse Kelly (@JesseKellyDC) January 16, 2016 |
Sure, Jan.
Again, LOL.
We know who the curmudgeon around here is....now, but your blanket on your lap, they’ll be rolling you back to your room, soon. TV time is over.
.
Beginning?
Its the end of Trump.
If/when Trump is the nominee, who will you vote for in the general? It is understandable if you dislike him that much to sit the election out or write in your favorite candidate.
What makes you think that? All signs continue to show he will be the nominee. He has held the lead based on polls and he continues to draw the biggest crowds in any state he visits.
.
You do the most ignorant invidious trolling we’ve ever seen here.
And Trump is still not going to marry you, he likes the young tender ones.
Trump has jumped the shark.
No.
It’s not.
But this is the beginning of the campaign in earnest. Right now, it’s Trump and Cruz. Soon enough the GOPe splitters, Rubio and ?, will come out strong, leaving Yeb! to weigh in.
No one’s clean. No one.
And then comes the Dem.
And the time to Nov., if we make it that far.
THEN, comes the absolute ruthless fight to smash the rot in DC with daisy cutters, while, at the same time, going after our actual enemies and their minions.
Only the ruthless will win. This is for all the marbles.
.
Even Trump wouldn’t be stooping this low if his internal polling wasn’t showing Cruz completely demolishing him. He is a proud guy you know.
Thank you!
I have two questions for Trump supporters:
1. How does it hit you that he states he is a Christian, but he states that has never needed to ask God’s forgiveness?
2. What do you think about his enthusiastic support for Kelo and its attack on private property rights - one of the foundational principles of our Constitutional republic?
Bonus question: Would you support these two issues if they came from Obama?
+1
.
Trump is dead.
This was his swan song.
The GOPe will eventually have to cave and support Cruz, since he is the only one that clobbers Hillary and brings California’s 54 electoral votes back home.
Let me also add one obvious number: 24.
Yes. The opposite of 42.
But apparently, it’s $24 T in debt, beyond which point the US will falter faster and faster.\
By the end of this year, at the ‘end’ of 0bama, we will be at a $21 T debt.
If the Dem or Sanders wins, or if 0bama gets his martial law, we ALL lose and close in on ourselves, just to survive.
.
Trump will not be the nominee; you’re a dreamer.
Absolutely.
That’s funny, we’ve all nominated you as the chief Forum Troll.
And, CRuz still isn’t going to marry you, he likes the ones with BIG $$. Since your name isn’t Goldman or Sachs, he’s kicked to the troll curb.
Now, get back inside before they discover you’re missing. You don’t need to miss medication time.
I agree (plus your previous post). It’s absurd that Cruz would be anything but respectful and grateful for ALL the heroes on 9/11 - all over the country.
As you know, it’s about principles, not people. Trump may have tapped into the Obama/Jarrett-inspired anger, but that’s no way to govern a Constitutional republic. I’m not trading one demagogue for another.
The sovereign debt of the US is over 250 Trillion.
24 would be chicken feed.
And the original poster won't mention the relatively miniscule number of likes and retweets for those criticizing Trump's tweet.
Cruz's Dan Quayle moment.
.
Trump can’t un-ring this bell dimwit.
