Watched Cruz a few minutes ago on CNN. According to CNN Cruz was the first candidate to make a statement. Ted stated first Praise God, talked about how he had gotten to know the Christian ministers wife and family.
He went on to say that we may well learn troubling details on how they came back to us, but Praise God for the release... I paraphrase from memory
You wont hear Trump praising God
Notice that the NYT praised the release of the journalist with several paragraphs and only mentioned release of the Pastor and others as an afterthought.
New York Values in action.
Without pressure from Trump no one would even be thinking about the hostages.
Trump talked about all four in nearly every rally he’s held and during a lot of his on TV interviews.
I don’t listen to Cruz’s rallies, so I don’t know if he ever even mentioned them.
Tump even warned Iran that there would be hell to pay if they weren’t released before he took office.
Oh for goodness sake! Just shaking my head...
What a horrible thing to say!
You know this how?
What an asinine comment.
Maybe because he does it in his mind and heart...or before bedtime....or...
What a crass, tasteless statement!
When I hear or see a candidate staging an open mini-prayer session before a camera or a reporter for political purposes, it reminds me of all the cameras rolling when Bubba Clinton walked down the church steps with his twenty-pound family Bible tucked under his arm.
