Cruze on the ruling: “very definition of tyranny.”

So Cruz doesn’t want to fight tyranny, let alone gay marriage.

Are you dense? Read the fine thread. Trump quotes upthread disprove your point.

Even though I am pro+life, I find your posts quite arrogant.

Would Jesus talk like you do?

Your champion Trump said this:

“homosexual marriage” is now the “law of the land” and that everyone must comply.

And is making no effort whatsoever to reverse it.

Yet you blame Cruz for saying its a states right issue...

it is not in the constitution but in English common law. All land was originally owned by the King (government) due to birthright or conquest. The Revolutionary war conquered the land from the British. and we conquered or purchased conquered land for the rest.

Actually purchased land from or drove the inhabitants from the lands in question.

Review your history.

Learn how to read. Eminent domain is in the Constitution. Where do you think your local highway came from ?

Trump is cynically playing a conservative and the sheep are following the pied piper.

That is the way I took it too but Trump still took him too the cleaners on that one exchange. I don’t know why Cruz stumbled on that one as Trump had said something similar earlier in the day and thus the Cruz camp should have been prepared.

You are right on but how does the momentum get stopped. He seems to have everyone under a spell. The same thing happened in Toronto with former Mayor Rob Ford.

Wrong. That is the standard position of Conservatives. They want the states in instead of the feds deciding.

“Yet you blame Cruz for saying its a states right issue...”

blame? Cruz had nothing to do with the Supreme Court decision.

I merely said that Cruz said that he would not fight gay marriage. When he said that gay marriage was not his top priority, that means he will not fight gay marriage. Why is that so hard to understand. Handing it off to the states is not fighting gay marriage. No state is going to fight gay marriage. If that were the case, it would be happening now. The Supreme Court judge in Alabama is trying to fight it, but you see all the support he has lined up behind him, don’t you.

“Your champion Trump said this:

“homosexual marriage” is now the “law of the land” and that everyone must comply.”

Has Ted Cruz stated that gay marriage is NOT the law of the land? No, he has not. So he and Trump agree.

Gay marriage IS the law of the land. It is not Constitutional, but no one, including Ted Cruz, is fighting it. A Supreme Court decision has been the law of the land since about 1803 — an usurpation of power, not in the Constitution, hated by Thomas Jefferson, that no one has yet had the backbone to stop.

“Wrong. That is the standard position of Conservatives. They want the states in instead of the feds deciding.”

The feds have already decided it.

I am a conservative, and I think there should be a Constitutional amendment preserving marriage as only between a man and a woman. We have twenty-something amendments and none are more important than protecting marriage.
