When I think of “New York Values” I think about the people New Yorkers elect like Chuck Schumer, Hillary Clinton, Bobby Kennedy, and Kirsten Gillibrand as senators, and Bill (anti-cop socialist/communist) De Blasio and Michael (anti-gun) Bloomberg as NYC mayor.
Rudy Giuliani is the only decent person recently elected as New York City mayor. Rudy is not all that conservative, but he is competent and has my respect.

DVRed but couldn’t watch the debate live. Skimmed the live thread this morning.
I appreciate all Trump has done...IMO, his voice has been indispensable in advancing the VOICE of GOPc (conservatives)-—especially how he has managed to shatter the MSM firewall. Said before, we owe him a great debt of gratitude.
Nevertheless, Cruz is stellar-—character, intellect, command of the issues, principles, temperament, emotional maturity, concrete vision, governmental experience.
As much as I appreciate Trump & his visceral instincts, I am a tad concerned how Trump may handle the office once he gets there. However, if he is nominated, I will support him wholeheartedly.
All that said, I hate to see Trump & Cruz go after each others throat this early...and by extension Freepers as well.
But it is what it is. Trump and Cruz will each do what they need to do & Freepers will champion the candidates they think can win & do the best job for America and conservatives.
Lastly...Rubio: IMO-— intelligent, command of the facts and issues, slippery, emotionally immature, “buyable,” and the last chance the GOPe has to keep control of the party.
I want Cruz, but I’m not ready to trash Trump. Am I too squishy this “late” in the GOP election process?

Don’t know if I can keep listening to Rush if he doesn’t stop hitting Trump. I know he loves Cruz but if he succeeds in bringing Trump down, the revolution is over. Rush has to know that.

And for those on the various threads getting their knickers in a twist ove the political discourse....try to have fun with it, like I am...I am guessing how many opus’ we will see and how many bannings there will be during the election season....but one must always factor in, not many bannings happen during the “fund raising” season....but that seems to be all the time...Hmmmmm I may need to re-think this ;-)

I also am in Cruz’ corner, but enjoy the waves Trump is making. Still think the crazy left will physically go after Trump, and hope his security can catch it before it happens. One thing: don’t count Bush out. I still believe he’s the ‘anointed one’. His daddy wasn’t CIA director for all those years, for nothing...

Trump brings up 9-11 because he lived it. He was there. It is a visceral part of his being. Why the hell shouldn’t he bring up especially since Cruz laid out his ad hominem.
As filthy, nasty as NYC politics is, upstate is bad too, as the NY political crime machine has a long reach.
