Fortran is tedious, COBOL less so. This object oriented crap makes you responsible for other peoples f ups. Sucks ass. A lot easier but no one can be held accountable. Constantly learning new stuff that has no future value. Whoever wrote the object is no longer employed if it sucks. If it is great they employ the Peter principle .... His next stuff sucks. BuBey.
dBase5 is so much better for handling data and printing reports! And it does everything Fortran does.
