Actually that is one of the arguments. It is not the one heard as much on FR, but it is one of the so-called “birther” arguments out there- that a candidate for president’s parents (both) must have been born in the US.

I never heard that. US naturalized parents OK if child BORN IN THE USA! Rafael Edward Cruz is most certainly eligible in Canada as a natural born citizen. In US, SCOTUS will need to clarify his NBC.
