From: http://marymargaretoliver.org/ MMO to hold press conference to discuss HB 731 - Assault Weapons ban
MMO is co-sponsoring with Rep. Gardener HR 962 and HR 963 establishing an independent, non-partisan commission to deal with redistricting. A press conference was held on January 5 which included both MMO and Rep. Gardener along with Sen. Elena Parent and representatives of the state and national League of Women Voters, the American Civil Liberties Union and Common Cause. The hope is for and honest and open discussion during the 2016 Legislative Session. Details on the two resolutions can be found on the House of Representative's website.
Introduced by: (1) Oliver, Mary Margaret 82nd (2) Abrams, Stacey 89th (3) Hugley, Carolyn 136th (4) Gardner, Pat 57th (5) Kendrick, Dar'shun 93rd (6) Dawkins-Haigler, Dee 91st
Someone needs to point out to her the RKBA is not about deer hunting but rather to protect us from the likes of oh say Gun Grabbing Commie Politicians.
I agree. This is dangerous.
I wonder if they would be scared of my non-black rifle: my FN Herstal SCAR 17S in flat dark earth?
lol
Renders the search function useless and causes duplicates.
We're under siege. We're constantly being assaulted and insulted.....
Let's outlaw "Assault Liberals"
"Assault Democrats"
"Assault Whining Nancy Boys"
"Assault Homosexuals"
"Assault She-Men"
"Assault Baby-Killers"
"Assault Muslims"
"Assault Media"
The female authors haven’t visited Berlin on New Year’s Eve lately have they?
And out of the other side of their mouth they’ll tell us to stop protesting because they aren’t trying to take our guns.
I would hate to see what this country looks like in 25 years.....
Or as the media explain... a big mean scary black rifle.

I just got in a debate with a Lib on this exact topic.
All his nonsense comments sounded right out of a Obama playbook.
When I mentioned Obama has already stated publicly that his goal is Gun Confiscation he said:
“I don’t think he has said that” then walked away.
Does this qualify as a "Scary" weapon?
Second Amendment protections were put in place so that citizens could shoot operatives of an oppressive government, not deer.

Duplicates are good. We don’t all live day and night on FR and don’t know to search these things when we awaken to social justice the site for bloggers.
Second Amendment protections were put in place so that citizens could shoot operatives of an oppressive government, not deer.
You live in Georgia, don’t you? This should interest you.
Not so much.
We don't all live day and night on FR
Who is "we", Kemosabe? Got a mouse in your pocket?
and don't know to search these things
Searching for an existing thread before posting a thread
is what the search function is FOR. Did you think it was just a curiosity?
Take it to PM, please. Arguing over the title in public is more problematic than the title.
