She has been replaced with a sad caricature, which includes so many embarrassing meltdowns and contradictions it would require a whole separate column to chronicle them.

Nowadays Ann has had to metamorphose from provocateur to the punditry equivalent of "your mama" jokes with a side of bullying. For that's what happens to you when you start uttering complete nonsensical tripe like the following and call it a "hot take":

They were more right wing and conservative than Mitt. If you can find a single act of conservative anything by Mitt, you’ll be the first. In four years of me saying that, no one has done it yet.

I'm sure you will find some conservative positions, and actions as governor, in this list. For example, Romney vetoed legislation that would have scaled back and eventually eliminated charter schools in MA.
I wasn't enthusiastic about any of the Republican primary candidates in 2012, but I would have voted for any of them, except Ron Paul, against Obama. If Ron Paul had been the nominee, I probably would have not cast a vote in the Presidential contest.
