Megyn Kelly asks Ted Cruz about Trump's New York Values.
Fox News ^ | January 13, 2016 | Youtube

Posted on 01/13/2016 8:09:12 AM PST by true believer forever

Skip to 4:40. Kelly asks Cruz about the push polls. She asks if his campaign had anything to do with them. He swivels, and then she reads from the Washington Examiner article about one of the questions in the push poll asking voters what they thought about Trump's liberal new york city values ... she then asks Cruz if that is why he made the statements throughout the day about Trump's values (notably on Howie Carr). Cruz keeps on the swivel and finally Kelly gives up.

She then asks him, "What are New York Values?"

Cruz replies: "The rest of the country knows what New York values are, and they aren't Iowa values and they aren't New Hampshire values."

Trump has Brooklyn values.

That’s why he supports the death penalty.

Does Teddy Boy not know that New York has a ton more delegates than Iowa?

A few loud Trump supporters seem to be the only voices on these primary threads anymore. They’ve successfully chased everyone else off. lol

Yes, and some of these anti-Cruz jihadists are recent sign-ups and seem to be coordinating their “talking points”.

Cruz seemed just fine with “New York City Values” when he was asking gay billionaires for money in NYC last year:

Hey NOOB, how frequently do you receive your talking points?

Cruz has stepped into it.

NYC values might trend to nuts, But the question was NY.

Ouch!

But he might win Iowa. In the 2012 New York primary Santorum came in fourth place out of four with 10% of the vote. Cruz never had a chance there, he can say anything, it won't make a difference.

Oh my, how your comment drips with jealousy!

Oh, really? Go on, ask me if I'd want 100 lb. of stinkbait like that.

How 'bout you, wise guy? You ready to swap "I do" rings with a board-certified slutburger?

Ask him to provide an electoral vote count for the morally good states, too.

Trump’s values? FACT: Trump is the ONLY GOP candidate running who supported the Establishments of BOTH parties (mostly democrats), and NEVER endorsed a grassroots conservative for POTUS.
He donated to Carter and Mondale over Reagan. He supported the candidacy of Bill Clinton, TWICE; and credits Slick Willy as the best president in the last 20 years. He supported John Kerry’s presidential run in 2004. He supported Nancy Pelosi as Speaker in 2006. He supported, and said his Marxist friend Hillary would make a good president in 2008, and AFTER his Marxist friend Hillary lost the democrat nomination, he endorsed John McCain (Establishment candidate) only one month before the general election. He supported Obama and his policies (aka. said he would hire Obama, Obama’s Stimulus Package, auto bailouts, foreign policy, etc) from 2008-11. He supported Harry Reid’s Senatorial campaign over Tea Party favorite Sharon Angle in 2010. He donated 100k supporting John Boehner in 2012. He endorsed the GOP’s Establishment Presidential candidate in 2012

Who ever said he didn't support both? Did someone tell you he only supported (R)epublicrats? What strawman are you responding too?

(mostly democrats)

Tell you what. Give me the complete list and I will check for myself. You're statement does not jibe with what I have seen. Give me the data you are using please.

Finally, what could he have done up here in NY to possibly please you? He threaded the needle between both corrupt (D) and (R) crime syndicates without being owned by either, in a career, real estate, that makes it impossible to insulate yourself in a purist bubble. You would only respect him if he became a NY (R)INO like Rockefeller or Guiliani or Bloomberg or Pataki?

He was and still is an outsider to both of them. He played them rather than getting played by them. You should know that this is quite an accomplishment here in NY and really almost anywhere else in these hyper-political times we live. There are just not that many outsiders to be found, especially up here.

Again, who said he didn't donate to both parties? That is a strawman. Secondly, would it be more to your liking if he only supported (R)INOs? That doesn't exactly make me all warm and fuzzy inside. He never claimed to be a lifelong Conservative. You don't get to create a strawman to beat up! He's always been a maverick and is not hiding anything. No-one here is being fooled, except perhaps for you who are fooling yourself.

Now let me ask you, when it comes time for the general election who will be better positioned to court the blue collar (D)ummycrats? At least Trump can point to his "both parties" past and avoid the partisan (R) label that repulses the enemy voters he needs to court. Do you not understand that you need their votes or else you lose?

This graph was posted in this thread ...

You need to produce the data to justify all your claims, especially the claim that he supported Carter and Mondale over Reagan. His donations are clearly all over the map, and not "mostly democrats" as you claimed. They would seem to begin in the mid-1990's. Time to ante up or fold.

BTW: why were you originally responding to me anyway? You led off your comment with something about his "values" which I don't remember even mentioning. Are you sure you hit the correct reply button?
