Trump hits back at Nikki Haley: ‘Very weak on illegal immigration’

Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is swatting back at South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley after she used the Republican State of the Union response Tuesday night to caution the party against “angry” rhetoric like Trump’s.

In an appearance on Fox & Friends, Trump branded the Republican governor as “very weak on illegal immigration.”

“I feel very strongly about immigration,” he said. “She does not.”

Trump suggested that Haley has had “no problem” soliciting campaign donations from him in the past.

“She certainly has no problem asking me for campaign contributions, because over the years, she’s asked me for a hell of a lot of money in campaign contributions,” he said. “So perhaps if I weren’t running she’d be in my office asking me for money, but now that I’m running she wants to take a weak side on immigration.”

On Tuesday night, Haley chided those in her own party who would “follow the siren call of the angriest voices,” a clear reference to Trump’s rhetoric.

“No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country,” she said.

Haley told NBC’s TODAY on Wednesday morning that she was indeed referencing the GOP frontrunner, saying “Mr. Trump has definitely contributed to what I think is just irresponsible talk.”

Asked by FOX if he would consider picking Haley - a rising political star in a key primary state - to be his vice presidential pick, Trump said the odds were not looking good.

“Whoever I pick is also going to be very strong on illegal immigration,” he responded.++++++++++++++++++++++You bet!!!

Oh, settle down, it's only TEN American sailors being humiliated, and note that they're all white so in a way, frankly, they're getting an education about what it must like to be black in America.

It's not like Iran is ATTACKING us, or anything like that. This is just "posturing", which is a cultural norm in the middle east, which we must be sensitive to.

Since news accounts have been unclear on the disposition of the two boats, one would have to think that might be a small price for us to pay, some might call it tribute, which we can afford as the richest country on earth, for safe access to the Persian gulf, at least this week.

I was going to reference the same quote. It appears that a majority of the political class do not make a differentiation between legal and illegal immigration.
I believe it was Sen Boxer of CA (might have been Sen Feinstein of CA it is hard to tell the lack of wisdom between the two) who said: “Just because they are here illegally doesn’t mean that they broke the law.”
Is it too hard to see the that illegal and legal, following the law and breaking the law are mutually exclusive terms? Doesn’t illegal mean not legal or not following the law?
I guess us common folk are just to dumb and the “smart ones” will have to educate us in the secrets of “new speak”!

Lost in all of this is the real reason why they chose to pick out the Confederate Battle flag rather than what that nut job used to murder those poor souls at that church.

Because it was under threat of questioning and possible impeachment proceedings by its so called political opposition the regime needed to defer or stop any movement toward this. Through the use of The Bully Pulpit It created persons engaged in felonious assults on authority who were black youths into; Victims of an evil society (thus approving their actions) out of whole cloth.

The regime began with the Zimmerman case which resulted in a series of assults by black youths on completely innocent whites,hispanics, and asians who were either targeted or wandered near or through black gang infested areas. The perpetators excuse; The reported ?cold blood killing of Treyvon Martin because he was black

It led to a score or more deaths and serious injuries which were treated as local news ignored and forgotten. And it was met with silence while this was happening. Neither the locqatious POTUS or his political opposition uttered as much as a; Now!,Now! or a tsk!,tsk!.

Those killings were referenced by the Charleston Church massacre perpetrator in his crazed manifesto.

Naturally when it was discovered that mention of those score of murders were used in this nut cases’s manifesto.
The reaction was....Well we cant let that out. Oh ! His face book has him holding a Confederate battle flag, (Which to many is simply an ensign of protest and rebellion), that must be his excuse The Confederates made him do this horrible act ! Let’s get them !

Well they’re doing a good job of perverting what that battle flag represented at the same time ignoring the very mentioning of the regimes complicity in engendering those previous racial incidents.

Even so, just judging by the postings here to defending Trumps typical reaction to any criticism implied or direct will draw a personal response from Trump which never redresses the political issue at hand but a suggestion that the attacker is personally deficient to Trump. His Chumpions in supporting attacking Haleys rebuttal makes me wonder who they will vote for once Trump does not make the ballot.
