White privilege does exist. It comes from a few thousand years of social and cultural evolution. That is how long it takes to go from aboriginal to modern advanced culture. During that time we learned lessons and gained skills, knowledge,attitudes and values conducive to modernity and impressed them on our culture. At best the people who are using this tripe to knock us are trying to empower those who do not have this background. But you do not empower anyone by making a victim out of them or imposing a victims mind set on them. This is largely an attempt to clientize and patronize them for a political agenda. True empowerment comes from learning the lessons. It normally takes a few thousand years to go from where they were 200 years ago to where we are now. However by being taken into a modern society (regardless of the circumstances) they have the ability to emulate and learn from that advanced culture and catch up. Some will and some will not.
