His son Eric is leading the ethanol industry attacks against Cruz. Why is this surprising?

Has the Ethanol crowd come out and bitched about the 5 year taper of the Renewable Fuel Standards as proposed by Cruz?

Cruz has hit a brick wall with this issue. I know the logical thing for conservatives to do is point to Obama, but you're dealing with Leftists. Standards that don't apply to them will always apply to conservatives.

So Cruz needs to defuse this issue asap.

Legal experts were quick to vouch for Cruz, saying he meets the constitutional eligibility test because his Delaware-born mother was a U.S. citizen, thus automatically conferring the same status on her son.

It is not "automatic," it is derivative citizenship that is circumscribed by statue. Not all US citizens can transmit citizenship to their children. In the case of Cruz, his mother had to take an overt action to apply for citizenship for her son and supply documents to show she was a US citizen. She had the option of not applying. On the other hand, Cruz was an automatic Canadian citizen by virtue of being born in Canada.

I think you mean Don Jr. That is who was pictured with the Governor. Or maybe Eric hunts with him, too.

Prince Hamzah bin Hussein (born 29 March 1980)[1] is the son of King Hussein of Jordan and his American-born fourth wife, Queen Noor.

And is therefore qualified to run for President of the United States if he spends another ten years in the US, assuming he took four years to graduate from Harvard.
