The amazon cite I sent purports to detail other partners. I don’t know becaue I’ve not read it, and my purpose to connect to MSM early death is established by those 4 links at dailymail, snopes, amazon, and wiki. If you get anything any more detailed in your checking this out, please feel free to ping me to it.
Might’ve been the homosexuality. Might’ve been cancer from cigarette smoking. Either way it’s the fags that killed him.

Thanks, did not know that. RIP
‘The amazon cite I sent purports to detail other partners.’
No plans to read the book, and no interest in unsubstantiated rumors. A person as high profile as Bowie has few secrets. The type of charge you’re making would certainly have surfaced convincingly by now if there was anything to it. As a longtime fan, I’d have heard *something.* But I haven’t.
Bowie had sufficient moral failings without ascibing more to him than actual evidence supports. But if you insist on making such charges, that’s your choice. It’s hardly in keeping with the Golden Rule, but people do tend to carve out exceptions if it serves a particular cause.
There were rumors for years that he had Liver Cancer. If he had Lung Cancer, I doubt he could have pulled off his last album.
:>)
As I said, I’m connecting to the early demise statistics related to MSM. There’s sufficient evidence to raise that connection.
David Bowie was a 70’s and 80’s rock star who engaged in the behaviors that you would expect of a 70’s and 80’s rock star. Take it or leave it.
Without looking at his medical records and getting his physician’s notes on his cause of death it is impossible to know if his sexual promiscuity led to his death. He also was a chain smoker so perhaps it was lung cancer. In scientific arguments correlation is not causation. A person who has cancer can still die in a car crash.
Men who have sex with other men have a shorter life span and are at risk for a host of diseases that heterosexual monogamous men are not. Keep in mind however when false conclusions are drawn because of faulty logic ( Bowie had gay sex so it must be the sex that killed him) and are proven wrong, it only weakens your case.
Maybe, maybe not. He and Iman have been married for 24 years and reportedly have been very happy together. Here is another article from 1993:
David Bowie Calls Himself 'A Closet Heterosexual'
Guess it really can work both ways. He discovered "who he really was."
I believe there is evidence that snorting coke like a locomotive, for at least a decade, also has long-term deleterious effects on one’s health?
He smoked heavily all his life as well. The one time he successfully quit, the Thin White Duke’s waistline ballooned abysmally. Back to the smokes he went.
It was a crisp well produced album
Remember it said to play it loud on the cover
RIP.
You must have excellent ears. Or maybe I wasn’t trying hard enough. I’m still proud of the time I won a non-monetary bet re the line, ‘Spoken like a big monkey bird.’ A friend of mine with an excellent ear for music said those couldn’t possibly be the words Bowie wrote. I said they were...and you know the rest.
The Traffic song you mentioned is unfamiliar. I’ll plan to give it a listen ASAP.
I know you’ve already heard this very sad news today. RIP David Bowie, a hugely talented musician of unusual depth.
That is really great that you got to meet him in person.
I have purchased 5 of the Ziggy Stardust albums and one version on CD.
2 of them I had worn COMPLETELY out, one as a gift, one I let someone “borrow” and never got it back and I still have the 5th and last copy along with the cd version.
RCA AND David got me 6 times on that Ziggy Stardust album. I still enjoy it to this day.
I would be interested in your opinion of the latest album.
Thanks for your reply to my post.
He had a lot of great songs but I think this is his greatest:

That is a beautiful tribute. A sad day indeed. He will be missed.
