Spiteful Virginia GOPe Target Dave Brat for Retaliationâ€¦

Almost everyone is familiar with the most devastating loss for the Professional Political Establishment in the 2014 election cycle, the primary defeat of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor by insurgent patriot Dave Brat.

Fewer people recognize how devastating the loss was for the globalist DC elites who were less than two days away from approving the Gang-of-Eight Amnesty Bill known as "Comprehensive Immigration Reform".

With the vote count "whipped", and with enough House votes to pass identified, Speaker John Boehner was set to hold the vote on Thursday June 12th 2014. Cantor was defeated (primaried) Tuesday June 10th, and the "whip count" disappeared almost immediately.

The GOPe vowed to retaliate against Brat. Last week they began to make their moves:

RICHMOND - Longtime Henrico County Sheriff Mike Wade will challenge Rep. Dave Brat for the Republican nomination to represent the 7th District in Congress.

Wade, 59, a former Henrico Republican Party chairman who has served as sheriff for 16 years, filed organizing paperwork for a campaign committee with the Federal Election Commission in December.

The filing puts to rest rumors that have persisted for weeks that Wade would mount a challenge to Brat.

I live in the district and support Brat. I agree with your point but you need to understand the conservatives in the 7th District have had enough of the GOPe and that includes lackeys like Sheriff Wade.

Cantor was an arrogant ass who detested his own constituents. We were a mere formality - to be tolerated every few years for a few months around election time.

Brat is the polar opposite - he’s a real conservative who ran on a radical platform otherwise known as the Virginia Republican Creed! While giving lip service to the creed Cantor never walked the talk.

I need to say that the liberal Republicans in the 7th hate conservatives. They have even tried to label themselves as being conservative which is highly amusing to those of us in the know.

Thankfully, Sheriff Wade should prove to be a deeply flawed candidate who would be a fool to debate the good Congressman. But watch out he clearly will have the votes of all of the restaurant owners in the district as you can tell from the photo (sorry I couldn’t help it).

LOL. Actually they should want to keep the Sheriff close to home. Watch out for donations from DC restaurateurs.
