Charles Koch is âdisappointedâ with the line-up of Republican candidates in the 2016 cycle, and is surprised by the lack of influence he and his brother have wielded so far. In an interview with the Financial Times, the billionaire businessman and philanthropist, said heâll eventually support a candidate who he agrees with on some things with, but that itâs hard to get excited. He said a list presented to all the candidates about the Kochs' political arm's priorities âdoesnât seem to faze them much. Youâd think we could have more influence.â

“The Koch brothers are disappointed that Trump does not have to grovel to them. “
Good! Screw these two a$$holes! They are not who they have claimed to be. The idea that they think their money entitles them to “decide” who gets elected is why this country is in the deep trouble that it is.
What will Harry Reid have to piss and moan about now??
Yeah, Dick Scaife poured all his millions into a newspaper and he was not able to turn Pittsburgh Republican either.
Koch’s sentiment reflects my feelings concerning my choice of Republican candidates since the Election of 1988. I did not want George H.W. Bush in 1980 and reluctantly voted for him in ‘88. It has been downhill since - until now!
So I guess up for Koch is down for me and vice versa.
Walker was their boy. Now they’re secretly supporting Rubio.
Jeb was their boy. Walker jumped out under pressure from the Donor Class in order to try and shore-up support for Jeb (which may turn out to be a career ending decision for him. Walker would look pretty good up against most of that field right now).
I have never voted for the person who went on to get the nomination.
Why do you think Jeb was their guy? I’m very close to someone who’s fairly close to the Kochs.
Actually, I’m close to someone who’s close to people who’re close to the Kochs.
Best laid plans..
I did, in 1984, the first time I voted in a GOP primary. As with you, it has never happened since.
Trump does not have to. Cruz won't. The rest are irrelevant, unless Rubio becomes the Designated Loser.
LOL
Ezra: Five dollars. Maybe I'll go to the movies... by myself.
Mortimer Duke: Half of it is from me.
Ezra: Thank you, Mr. Mortimer.
[mouthing silently]
Ezra: A!!hole.
As post 14 shows, Cruz didn’t pass the audition.
Yo, Koch BRos! We’re sick of your support for gay marriage, CLub for growth, all things Rove and Norquist, amnesty and every bad trade deal like TPP.
