<"The establishment Republican Party -- most of whom I know well, and I'm not putting them down -- but they make their bread and butter out of controlling people, or at least being hired to help them package themselves. "So far, Trump has basically thumbed his nose at all of them and doesn't need them," he adds. "So of course they're all going to band together -- because this is their last stand."
I think all of this will backfire big time!
Hopefully the crowd is YUGE! today in SC
A said of Obama “he deserves my silence”....this while totally trashing the country. I think we deserve his silence while trump tries to save the country.
Beware of Mississippi redux ... GOPe will attempt to scaremonger about Trump/Cruz to Democrat voters to get them to cross over and vote for Jeb.
Yeah. That'll do it. Remind everyone of the disaster that resulted in the election of Barak Obama with filibuster-proof majorities in Congress so that Obamacare was passed. George Bush is a mixed bag to most Republicans. And he's yesterday's news.
>> Bush is quite popular among South Carolina Republicans
...would that be the same bunch of masochistic loser republicans that keep electing Linda Graham to the senate?
The food in SC is okay... must be in the water, then.
Lets all run out and support a party that torpedos people running under it’s banner. Then bitch about what we did to ourselves. Again.
What part of “WE DON’T NEED NO STEENKING BUSHES OR GOPe CANDIDATES!” do they not get?........................
"If {George W. Bush} engages, it will matter for his brother {Jeb Bush}, but really, it will matter for the entire team," Dawson told Bloomberg News.
The best thing about W. is his absolute refusal to inteject and engage in politics since he left office. Besides endorsing his brother, I do not expect him to campaign or make any appearances.
What, again??
Every month the Karl Rove Klan claims to be planning to stop Trump.
Increasingly Washington is looking to me like some sort of older industry that is trying to ward off disruption in the form of Donald Trump.
BTW- thanks for the Freeper innoculation. I’ve got my books for next semester and will be checking out probably until summer. God bless you all :)
South Carolina is know for dirty politics
Especially Bush family dirty politics.
Trump’s support is Trump’s support. It never goes below 25% anywhere, and will likely be orth of 30% in SC. Cruz, in the low 20s now, is not going to lose support to John Ellis Bush. Rubio will likely be coming off of a strongish finish in NH, and SC is almost next door to him, too. So, I guess John Ellis Bush will be trying to pick up the Kasich and Christie vote to “Stop Trump”.
If you just want to stop Trump, Vote Cruz.
If you want to stop Cruz, Vote Trump.
If you just want to protest both of them, vote for any of the others.
The irony is, if GWH Bush can actually move voters, it might be away from Sen. Cruz, the place where establishment voters would likely flee to after giving up on the likes of Jeb or marco. Thus GWH would not be taking likely votes from trump, but Sen. Cruz. And then, GWH may enable a trump win.
Is this like organizing a two-car funeral? GOPe may be in over its head./s
Maybe Lindsay Graham will win!
Does South Carolina have an open primary? Can the RNC/GOP-E pay democrats to vote for Jeb in the Republican primary?
Notice they aren’t putting up “firewalls” for Cruz...
Shows who they are really afraid of!
