Tell me if this sounds familiar. Then tell me why Finnish police waited a week to mention it.
As in Cologne, this apparently wasn’t a case of drunken revelry leading to boorishness and assault. It was planned.
Helsinki deputy police chief Ilkka Koskimaki told AFP: “There hasn’t been this kind of harassment on previous New Year’s Eves or other occasions for that matter… This is a completely new phenomenon in Helsinki.”
Security guards hired to patrol the city on New Year’s Eve told police there had been “widespread sexual harassment” at a central square where around 20,000 people had gathered for celebrations.
Three sexual assaults allegedly took place at Helsinki’s central railway station on New Year’s Eve, where around 1,000 mostly Iraqi asylum seekers had converged…
“Ahead of New Year’s Eve, the police caught wind of information that asylum seekers in the capital region possibly had similar plans to what the men gathered in Cologne’s railway station have been reported to have had,” police said in a statement.
Strikingly similar to Cologne, from the premeditation involved to the train station being selected as a target to the estimate of how many men were there. To repeat, though: Why’d it take a week for this to come out, especially given the international media attention to what happened in Germany? Forgive my cynical heart for suspecting that Finnish authorities may have held the information in hopes of quietly burying it but then changed their minds, either because the Cologne attacks gave them cover to say what happened in Helsinki isn’t a uniquely Finnish problem or because they feared a cover-up like the one attempted in Cologne would eventually be exposed.
Your must-read of the day on the consequences of importing huge numbers of young, unmarried men from male-dominated cultures comes from Valerie Hudson. Hudson looked at the sex ratios in Sweden among refugees from the Middle East and was struck by how skewed they are, especially among very young (i.e. teenaged) refugees. Sweden already had a slight male skew among 16- and 17-year-olds; when you add in the overwhelming skew among refugees of the same age, you get 123 males to 100 females, a ratio more lopsided than even China’s. Bad things tend to happen in societies where a large number of men are doomed to go unmarried. Young single men are prime recruits for terrorists, sure, but the cultural symptoms of this demographic asymmetry go beyond that:
As my co-author Andrea Den Boer and I argued in our book, societies with extremely skewed sex ratios are more unstable even without jihadi ideologues in their midst. Numerous empirical studies have shown that sex ratios correlate significantly with violence and property crime--the higher the sex ratio, the worse the crime rate. Our research also found a link between sex ratios and the emergence of both violent criminal gangs and anti-government movements. It makes sense: When young adult males fail to make the transition to starting a household--particularly those young males who are already at risk for sociopathic behavior due to marginalization, a common concern among immigrants--their grievances are aggravated.
There are also clearly negative effects for women in male-dominated populations. Crimes such as rape and sexual harassment become more common in highly masculinized societies, and women's ability to move about freely and without fear within society is curtailed. In addition, demand for prostitution soars; that would create a deeply ironic outcome for Sweden, which invented the path-breaking Swedish abolitionist approach to prostitution.
The solution for fans of open borders is straightforward. Exclude men from the refugee pool and start admitting women only, at least until sex ratios are back in balance. The solution for opponents of open borders is also straightforward. Shut the door before Europeans are forced to conclude that mass public celebrations are effectively “no-go zones” for the wider population, particularly women. If Europe’s current leadership doesn’t choose one of those options, whatever replaces them will. And whatever replaces them is more likely to choose the second option than the first one.
As for Cologne, the city’s police chief, who insisted early on that there was no evidence refugees were involved in the assault when his own deputies had reason to believe otherwise, is now out of a job. I’ll leave you with this from Deutsche Welle, reporting that Cologne police found video of some of the New Year’s harassment of women on the cell phones of two suspects, presumably as a sort of trophy: “Police also found a piece of paper with translations of phrases like ‘nice breasts,’ ‘I’ll kill you,’ and ‘I want to have sex with you,’ translated from Arabic into German, wrote the broadcaster.”
Who is that?
Homosexual cultures (like the Afghanistan one) hate and revile females and use the children for their own ends. As Walid Shoebat has stated, the Saudis prefer the little boys for sexual recreation. Women are breeders only in homosexual cultures (like the Spartan one—never for “love” and “respect” or camaraderie. They are sexist cultures always (hate God’s Design of the human body).
The emasculating conditioning of little boys has been occurring in America since the 50s (with pervert Kinsey/Freudian curricula) has been to fixate children in their puerile, narcissistic age (latency) so it would be impossible to mature and “love” the Other (like in all muslim cultures which are puerile and immature/evil).
True diversity is the love (selflessness) between Male/female and the destruction of Love (flourishing/Christianity) is the destruction of the idea of the Natural Family, so that children can be raised in boy harems or artificial environments (out of mother/father paradigm) or denigrated (abused) so they are dehumanized enough to never be a man of Virtue-—able to protect and care for the weaker elements in culture.
Feminism was a Marxist invention of radical egalitarianism to put women at competition with males (group to create hate of other in young childhood)-—make them interchangeable so children will have their natural instincts completely destroyed (and Reason).
Destroy the mystery and dignity of human beings (hyper-sexualize the young so there is no respect or dignity or mystery in “the Other” and no possibility of chilvary or Romance (explicit “sex ed” was a Marxist invention to destroy the innocence and moral formation of children—to demysticize sex and dignity of man—to reduce sex to a meaningless animal act).
All above dehumanizes man-—makes them immoral and unable to “Love”—particularly the “Other”.
Puerile cultures are evil cultures-—Brownshirts were homosexuals as were the Bolsheviks——people who reviled God’s Design of Man. These people brutalize women-—and promote women as objects, and they also brutalize their own children. There is no Freedom in such vile, evil cultures for Virtue is needed in civil societies. Virtue is being destroyed in the Finnish with the ejection of God (truth/Justice/Wisdom/Freedom—Natural Law). Socialism rots the Soul-—normalized dependent, useless males (homosexuals).

Translation of phrases on paper. At central train stations in at least two cities we know of, and both on New Years eve? Groups of men forming large groups that prevented police from reaching the rapes in the center of the huddle.
Yep, I agree it was a coordinated terror attack. And the security agencies such as NSA and their foreign partners probably know it. They HAD to have intercepted a thousand emails and text messages getting the word out on how it was to go.

Please. And just to be clear, I’m not -at all- associating Catholics of today with that foul organization of back when in the 1200s. And as a protestant, I for example think Calvin was a first class low life. That said, it’s a real whopper to say that 13th century Catholicism elevated women and aligned religion with science.
Finland has a nifty little national knife called a puukko, a sort of cross between an American hunter's skinning knife and a fisherman's filet knife. Most of the Finnish girls I knew carried one, and thought no more about it than an American kid would a pencil or a wallet. The handles are usually wood, to which one's fingers don't stick in Wintertime, sometimes bone, which makes for a little better grip. And sharp, so very, very sharp!
There's also the smaller emannanveitsi woman's household knife, virtually a part of the traditional rural costume, but smaller. But most of the Finn girls I've known went for the puukko sometimes the smaller, handier ones...but not always.
As close as you can get lately, with FR mangling umlauts and foreign-language accent characters.

He took us aside and told us how much he appreciated his new American friends, who kept alive the deeds and memory of his friends who died at Finland's Killer Hill, essentially Finland's Alamo, with one single platoon of 32 Finns stand against an entire Soviet regiment of 4,000, but with one small difference: at Killer Hill, the Finns held until relieved and thereby won- barely. Four of the 32 survived.
A hunter and competitive target shooter before the war [he competed in the *patrol rifle* sport that in 1978 became the Biathlon event in which girls with .22 rifles and ski pants shoot at domino size targets; but in his time the service rifle was used.] His rifle was the Model 28-30, known as pystykorrva [Spitz-dog ears, from the shape of the front sight guard] based on the Russian M91 Mosin-Nagant. He still shot competitively and as a coach after the war, and sometimes brought his old war rifle along to military parades and Finnish veterans' reunions. *here.*

I recall reading an account of the Finns using home made dynamite mines and anchoring them in a lake. When it was frozen enough to drive on the Soviet Army launched an attack across it and the Finns command detonated the mines and sank a large bunch of Russkis into the freezing water.
If this happened it would seem there must be a large amount of goodies and vehicles waiting to be found on the lake bottom amongst a whole lotta bones.
A lot of what were lakes 75 years ago are bogs and peat marshes now. And there are all sorts of interesting things that turn up in them from time to time. A lot of the Soviet tanks used during the Winter War were gasoline-engine T-26s and amphibians; during the Continuation War the 76mm gun T-34 became more common. And yep, some of those recovered T-34s were put into Finnish military service.
