I posted on this within 2 minutes of that statement. I couldn’t believe my ears when he said that. Using as Communist China, who is known human rights abuser, as a model for how we should be in America. Unbelievable. he has lost all credibility as POTUS and has undermined decades of work directed at correcting China’s human rights abuses. Shameful.

It all started going downhill when we stopped referring to them as “Red China”; our government has cozied up to them (in a manner reminiscent of our whitewashing of “Uncle Joe” Stalin) for decades, and they are the envy of every government that wants to rule its population with an iron fist.
Hillary spoke at a women’s conference there years ago (maybe when BJ was president); apparently nobody thought it was ironic that a country that limited women to one child apiece was hosting it.
China civilians never have owned guns. United States has 300 million guns in the hands of civilians. This blithering idiot Obama can’t see the difference. And criminals are dealt with very harshly in China. When my colleague left some money in his hotel room as a tip upon checking out, they sent the money back to him in US by mail!
